My father moved into De Good Shephard Senior Living INC last November. It's one of the best places I've ever seen. It's a home. The lady cooks home-cooked meals for the residents as she takes a personal touch. She really, truly loves her patients there, and you can tell that she cares a lot about them. It's like having a private nurse. She can house six there. She converted a house into a comfortable place for them, and she has all the facilities there for basic bathing and all of that. It's a very nice place. They have three in staff, the owner and she has two other nurses, and she's a registered nurse herself. My dad has a physical therapist and occupational therapist come in, and she ensures that he follows up with his exercise. I don't think he would have done that if he had gone home, and she has games, board games, and all kinds of things that they play. She has a television in each room. She has two in my dad's room because it's a double room, but she hasn't got anyone in the other bed. She just lost one of her residents. He had MS, and he passed away because of MS. The food is outstanding, my dad is gaining weight. She takes care of my mother, too. My mother is still at home, she goes there and sits for my dad. She will feed her as well, which takes a lot of worry off of me. You get a lot for your money, it's like having a personal nurse, and you can't beat that.

This facility is very beautiful and clean the owner is loving and caring. Her personality is like a burst of sunshine! I will gladly refer anyone that needs care.

My wife and I visited De Good Shepherd Senior Living home. We were impressed by the facility itself as well as the director and staff we met. We were also pleased with the neighbors and their joy to have the facility located in their neighborhood. We would highly recommend De Good Shepherd to friends.
