"The rooms were average, and they were nice. The dining room was nice. It wasn't exactly fine dining, but it was close to it. Waterford is nice because it is by the water, and it has nice scenery; you can see the ocean and ships at bay. It was a pretty nice community. "

"My dad moved to Harbor View. The staff was very caring and willing to work with me. My father said the food is fine, and he likes it. I know they have different clubs, there’s stuff like Bingo, and he’s taken part in some kind of drama production. They’re very good. "

"I pass Atria Cranford almost every day. The facility is very nice and the food was great. Their dining room is beautiful and immaculate clean. The two knock outs that they would have would be, one is that we saw an activity there which we think it was pathetic. The other thing was that when the staff realized that they weren’t going to make any money with us that day, they could wait to get rid of us. "

"Sunrise at Mill Basin was a beautiful place, but it was very expensive. It's assisted living, but they also take care of dementia like my sister. It's very luxurious. The director was the only one I had contact with. She was very good and very informative."

"I toured Coterie Hudson Yards, but it's super expensive. What I liked the best about this place was that they had Michelin-star chefs cooking their meals, they had pretty much an entire floor that's dedicated to emergency medical care, and they can do 95% of what an emergency room can do. They had the best doctors in New York City that money can buy. However, the thing that I liked least was the money, because only billionaires could afford it. The staff that they had was the pick of the litter in New York City. I've tried the food prepared by their Michelin-starred chefs. It's not only delicious, but their menu has to be approved by Mayo Clinic just to make sure they're not only delicious but very healthy for their residents. Even though they didn't have a pool, they had a shuttle that goes to a pool all the time. They had a gym, a courtyard, and a salon. They had pastries that the pastry chefs made that you can get at any time of the day."

"My mom has been a resident at Clara Barton for two and a half great years. She was happy, busy, and content before COVID and she continues to be today. This is mostly due to the outstanding staff at Clara Barton. They have kept strict rules about keeping residents safe while allowing them to have wonderful activities indoor and out! They have made every effort to keep the residents moving and engaged under these difficult circumstances. I have always been very pleased with my mom’s life here and I greatly appreciate all that the entire staff does to keep Clara Barton a happy, busy and safe place for all of their residents."

"When the doctors at Bayshore Hospital determined that my 91 year old mother needed special care that only an assisted living facility can provide, like any son who had cared for and lived with his mother during her time of need, I was a little apprehensive. My mother has been a resident of the Millennium Memory Care in Aberdeen (recommended to me by Bayshore Hospital) for close to a year now and I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I am with the attention of care my mother receives from their dedicated staff. Not only does she receive medical care, medication management and regularly scheduled checkups, they also provide a hair dresser and hold holiday parties. Now with the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff has suspended visitation and put other measures in place to safeguard the health of their residents. I would recommend this Care facility to anyone. "

"Villas of Holmdel was a new facility. It was well organized and it had a separate wing for memory care. They had resources 24 x 7 if the residents should have an issue. The place was safe. The menus were appropriate for their residents. The staff was knowledgeable and willing to help."

"Brookdale West Orange was great. The rooms were nice, clean, and functional. Everybody seemed at peace and happy. They were playing bingo when I was there. They showed two types of studios: a small and bigger one. They seemed perfect. They also showed us the beauty shop, the library, the place where they had a computer, their front porch, and the patio outside. Everything was nice. The menu was great, and they have so many options."

"The staff knew everybody there, and they were very friendly and very welcoming. It was very clean. The rooms had more than some of the other places I visited, like there was a microwave and a refrigerator as opposed to some of these places where you have to bring your own. My mother is there now, and they have enough activities for her where they do things, she could go back and rest in her room, and then come down later for a new activity."

"I liked the tour I had at The Willows Home. It was good. I like the staff who gave the tour, and they called me after that. They seemed to be nice people. I like the price, too, and I think the staff was courteous. It's a house that they transformed into assisted living because the house has about 12 rooms. The house is very old, but it's clean. The layout is good."

"Spring Hills has exceptional activities staff. Speaking as a family member of a resident in the memory care section, known as Spring Cottage, I can say that the activities staff are incredible. They provide physical activity such as chair yoga and group exercise, as well as involve the Spring Cottage residents in events, BBQs, and other activities held in the community. They are really incredible at keeping them engaged! Well done."
