Parkland Garden is really nice with remodeled apartments. They get one meal a day and have 24-hour on-duty staff at the desk. Housekeeping and laundry of the linen is done once a week. The layout is nice, and they’ve been doing some overhaul. The dining room is very nice and has a fireplace, and they do a lot of decorating for the holidays. It’s very fresh. They have daily games, special events, a lot of guest musicians, and do things with children, which the adults really like. They have crafts a few times a week, movies once a week, and some exercise classes. They have Wii bowling tournaments; Mom does that once a week and really likes it. She complains about the food sometimes. What I liked about it is that they check on you if they don’t show up for lunch, and you can have the meal sent to your room.
