I am a resident of Broadview - Senior Living at Purchase College. It's very expensive. I like the people who work here. I liked the safety. It's very secure. It's a 500-acre campus with magnificent trees. I like all the greenery and the trees. I have two bedrooms and a combination living room, dining room, and kitchen, which are all in one room. I'm on the third floor, and I look out over a beautiful courtyard. We have all kinds of dining areas. We have the great hall, where they have performances. The other night we had a wonderful piano performance. It was spectacular. They have a nice library. They have a beautiful swimming pool, exercise rooms, and a great gym with all kinds of equipment. They have a cleaning service that comes with the monthly cost. Once a week, they come to clean your apartment. The staff is excellent. However, everybody complains about the food. They have all kinds of biking, hiking, bird watching, and all kinds of tours into New York museums and botanical gardens. They have a large van that takes people to New York City, Wave Hill, Bronx Botanical Gardens, and different places. There are all kinds of exercise classes, dance exercises, and book clubs. You can have people come and review books, all kinds of lectures, and everything's brand new. The ceilings are high and the windows are long and high.

We will move into Broadview - Senior Living At Purchase College. It's relatively new and fresh and has many couples who reside there, which is unusual for this community. Around 50% of the apartments are occupied by couples. So it felt like it would be a good fit for us. Being on a college campus allows inter-generational activities, which we look forward to. It also has a flexible meal plan, so we're not committed to three meals daily. We get credits per month which allows us to use those credits in ways that suit our dining style and needs. The whole facility seems very vibrant. There are many of our contemporaries in terms of age and interest who are there. There is an entry fee, but beyond that, the monthly costs are very reasonable, and the community seems flexible and responsive to people's needs. The staff was extremely accommodating, responsive, and helpful. We had one meal there, and it was excellent. They had a pool, exercise centers, a cinema room, a beautiful common space area, and rooms for joint classes with students from the college.
