My encounter at the facility was a very pleasant one as I was able to interact with the staff, specifically a social worker. She was very kind and it was evident that she was passionate about her job. I asked her why was it important for her to work with this population and she stated that, as a vulnerable group, the aging needs as much support, if not more than any other population. This made me realize that patients are being cared for and treated with respect at this facility
