My mother is over at the Allegria at the Fountains. It's wonderful. She started out in the independent living facility and she's now in the reminiscence center, and still doing well. It's a very neat and clean facility, and the staff is wonderful there. They're very caring and compassionate with the patients. They have wonderful activities to keep them occupied there, and the meals are great. My mother loves it, she has lots of friends there. I can't say enough about them, we were just very pleased with them there. The food is very good. She's in a memory care room now, but when she was in the independent, they take them to go shopping, took them to the stores, and even took them down to the shore. They have a little shuttle bus that takes them out shopping and takes them to church. They also do arts and crafts, they have a little gym room there, they do movies, they have people that come there and do singing and dancing. They have social activities, and they do a lot there all day long to keep them active.

I liked Allegria at the Fountains. They are renovating. It's spacious enough. I love the idea of having the trees and the scenery. It would be to my advantage to get involved with everything. It would be better for me to be in a facility that has rehab facilities, so when I replace my hip, I would have the services right there. I wouldn't have to go anywhere. The staff was very, very helpful. We did try their lunch, and we saw their area for dinner. We had hamburger sandwiches and they were very good. They offer exercise and other amenities. They have sewing, art, and different activities. They're very, very friendly. We walked in and we were taken care of. There's a church across the street from them.

Allegria at the Fountains is very large. They were doing quite a bit of making over on their first floor, so there was a lot of traffic going on there. One thing I didn't care for was when I said to the staff, 'I'm walking with you, and I'm lost. How do your people get from one place to another without getting lost?' The staff said, 'Oh, it takes time.' I said, 'Would it be easier if you just drew arrows? Because I just didn't know where we were going.' If the staff would have left me, I don't even know how I would have gotten out of there. There were quite a few people. They were having a happy hour (they have that every Friday), so they had food and drinks. The people there seemed to be very happy. Memory care is made up of a studio, so it's just a bed in a room and a bathroom, and that's not what I'm looking for my friend. They showed me a small cafeteria area. The outside needed work though. The staff said they're going to be fixing it up. They had things thrown in there. That, I didn't care for either. For amenities, they have a stage, an activity room, and a library. The staff was very knowledgeable. She had been there 10 years. She seemed to know everybody there.

My mother moved here in September and is moving out before summer. She hates the food. They gutted the entire first floor in January to remodel to assisted living and no construction has begun as of May. All cement floors and bare exposed wires. Her elevator has been broken going on 10 days. The property manager has promised to replace torn, lumpy, taped carpet and yet nothing has been done. He also promised chairs to go with a table in common area, no chairs yet. Her win g was torn and flapping in the wind. He had it torn off and not replaced. The pond is filled with trash and the gazebo has caution tape around it because it it’s falling apart. My mom said she feels like lives in a slum and it sure looks like it

Mom, who is a vibrant 92 year old loves the room and community. However, since the new owners took over in January, the meals are awful! The meal choices are minimal, and everything is overcooked and over sauced. She can’t even get her pasta without sauce. Mom has had numerous bouts of stomach issues and has sometimes gone hungry because she can’t eat the food.

We toured Allegria at the Fountains for my mother-in-law. The staff members were very friendly, helpful, open, and honest. The rooms were very appropriate and nicely furnished. I've met with two people, and they were extremely helpful and answered every question I had. It made me just feel at ease with the process of what it's going to take. We had some really difficult questions to ask because of the situation that we're in, and they were able to supply every answer we asked immediately. We didn't have to wait to get a response. They were very knowledgeable in their business. They were phenomenal.

The Allegria at the Fountains facility is beautiful. You couldn't see the rooms because of COVID, but they gave us a video so we got to see them. It was very nice, my mother would have to be in special care there. The staff seemed fine. I was looking for nursing care, so my mother couldn't use any of their facilities. They have all the amenities except for the people in memory care and special nursing. They had a big room with a TV, and they had some pretty water fountains outside. They were very clean. It's located in a neighborhood or residential homes.

One thing that stood out to me when I went to Allegria at the Fountains was that when they were giving me a tour, I saw a lady who was trying to get the nurse's attention, but the nurse was on her cell phone and standing off to the side. She wasn't paying attention to the resident and me, that just made me think, 'Is this going to happen with my father?" If he needs just to get somebody's attention from somewhere, they're going to blatantly ignore him. Overall, it looked like a nice place. They were kind and nice. They showed me everything. They have a lot of activities for the seniors. It had a courtyard and a place where they could exercise.

I looked at Allegria at the Fountains. They don't have space for Medi-Cal patients, and they said that if my cousin paid for two years, they couldn't guarantee her a spot there under Medicaid, so that kind of doesn't help. You don't want to pay a facility all this money and then they don't want to keep you. Otherwise, it's a nice facility. It looked like it was newly renovated and updated. The rooms looked very nice. Each of the rooms had a little closet and enough room for a double dresser. The room that she showed me had a double sliding glass door, which is nice. It almost feels like they're like an apartment living. They had a nice PT area and a family gathering area. The grounds looked nice. Overall, it was very nice. The lady that gave me the tour was very nice, too.

My father is in Allegria at The Fountains. He gets his meals every day. They make sure that he has physical therapy and memory care, so that's good. They go and help him, but he's in independent care. He wished there were more activities on the weekends, but during the week, there's a lot. They have bingo, horse racing, and movie nights, and they travel places for lunches. They have a gym, a salon, restaurant, cafe, and library.

The place is being renovated however the apartment we visited was in desperate need of a face lift. The wood on the deck off the living room needed replacing. For $3500 @ month I would expect a lot more. Now that being said, hopefully the apartments will also be renovated. Not sure if meals were included in the price.

Allegria at the Fountains was under construction in a major remodeling of the common area. We were shown the layout and the interior design that they were redoing, and it's going to be beautiful. The place did need to be updated, so their reconstruction was timely. Each resident has their own doorway that they can decorate or put a table out or put a statue. We saw in the rooms, they had not only a bedroom and a living room, but they also had a sunroom attached to some of the rooms, which was a three-season room. You wouldn't want to go out there in the dead of winter or the heat, but it was like a bonus room. We have several residents. We toured the dining facility. We saw the library. We were treated very well by the staff. They were fully operational. It's an older facility that they're updating, and they're not only updating the decor, but they're also updating the electrical and the data lines. This is a major renovation that they're doing while the residents are in place. They had a beauty salon, and they had a manicurist there. We met a doctor, and they had a medical place there. We liked it, but it was just too far away. They weren't as diverse as I would have liked. My friend is Jewish and there's a very small population.

I liked Allegria at the Fountains, and the cost was better than the place I chose, but it was at least a 40-minute drive from me. It was a continuing-care where you have assisted living, memory care, and like a skilled nursing facility. The rooms were very small, but they had an activity director that was always in the activity room. So when anyone came in, there was somebody there to do some sort of activity with them along with scheduled activities. The staff that I met was very, very nice and seemed to know all the family, and knew all the patients. As memory care, they didn't make their residents wear masks, instead all of this staff wear masks, and when I went to visit, they did a rapid covid test on me, which was negative. So I liked that because to get people with dementia to put on the mask and keep it on, it's almost impossible. So I did like how that was handled, like they understood dementia. The layout was nice, and they had a very nice activity calendar as well.

Do NOT send your loved one to memory care! The director of assisted living is beyond unprofessional!! She suggested that it is too bad my mom is not further along in her disease (Dementia) because she would not be trying to get out of their “secure” facility. They are NOT secure! All they need to do is press on the exit door for 10 seconds and your loved one is in the woods or on a main highway! Worse yet, they take no responsibility, instead the director says my mom’s Dementia is a behavior problem that they won’t deal with!! The ER is their option for dealing with her exit seeking behavior. We have been there for 30 days and she has been sent to the ER and we have been threatened that this will continue if we do not provide 1:1 care. This seems to be their only remedy for typical Dementia/memory issues. They have continuously said throughout this past month that we need to recognize my mom is not safe in their “secure” memory floor and yet they advertise as such. If they can not be held accountable, they my only hope is that we can save another family from this horror!

I was very impressed with Allegria At The Fountains. We didn't go with it because mom didn't want to change, and they didn't have private rooms available at the time. I would recommend it nevertheless because it seemed nice.

The Fountains at Cedar Parke was much more expensive than the other facilities. It had a country club feel almost, and it was too ritzy for my mother. They had a big library, and they had the ability to move you from independent living to assisted living in a different wing. They had all the levels of care. It was very clean, big, and a lot of couples were there. The lady who showed us around was very pleasant. The place looked lovely. If you have the money and you want to live like that, it's a nice place. They were very accommodating and answered all our questions. We had lunch there, but I wasn't that impressed. It was more like a snack area; anybody could go there anytime and get something, but it was very limited. They had a beauty parlor and other amenities.

We saw The Fountains at Cedar Parke. We liked it but it was farther away from where the family lived. It seemed like a very nice place, but it was larger, and that was another factor why we did not choose it for my mother.

We went to the Fountains at Cedar Parke. It's a little rundown, they had a lot to offer, the room itself was nice, but my mom did not have a good feeling there. The lady was very helpful, but she never followed up. We saw more of the independent living activities like bingo, card games, but the location was not good.

We visited the independent living level of The Fountains at Cedar Parke. I liked everything about it; the apartments were roomy enough and accommodated pets. The staff seemed engaged. My sister was interested in the one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor, and the grounds were lovely.

The Fountains had many activities, a theater, and a have priest who came in for mass and Communion. They had all kinds of entertainment and trips to malls, shops, and casinos. The rooms were very pleasant and painted. Every unit in the compound had its own private porch, which impressed me the most. The people who I talked to were all very pleasant and helpful.

I was not too impressed with the care given to a friend plus the lack of clean lids in their apt. The daughter seems to have to vacuum the apt. Plus the trash needed to be emptied and your info says this is done daily. I volunteer at a senior facility in another state & I do not see the lack of care & attention where I volunteer that I saw at your very attractive facility.

We visited The Fountain. Many residents there were members of my mom’s parish, and they had a wonderful Catholic service on Saturdays, which made her feel welcome. The people were very helpful and caring. They provided three meals.

My dad has lived here in Independent Living for 3mos. He had a fall, was hospitalized, then Rehab in another section of the same facility. He will be moving to Assisted Living in the same facility. There is something to be said for continuing care available in one location. He has had very good care while in Rehab and all staff go out of their way to make family members comfortable. The residents are also very friendly and speak highly of this place. I would highly recommend the Fountains at Cedar Parke.

One of the most memorable places we visited is The Fountain at Cedar Parke. The surroundings were very nice. The food was excellent. We usually do try the food because it is important to me. We were looking for me and my wife. We liked the room. A lot of these places have a lot of activities, probably more than you would want to be involved in. During the day, they have games and things like that. The food was exceptional. I don't think it was lady luck with the meal, but it was exceptional. It is probably one of the top three places if not the top that we visited as far as the food goes. They also have a ten percent discount on the monthly rate for veterans. I think it is the only place that we visited that had that for veterans.

My Mother in Law lived here on the independent living side. Very, very nice. I brought my husband here for a short stay (he has alzheimers ) and when i picked him up he was unwashed and u shaven. He reeked. He was neglected the whole time he was there. They never even brushed his teeth! Disgusting place. 300.00 per per doesn't buy you a shower?

We went to The Fountains and this is the one we liked the best. It was clean; it was updated. There seemed to be a lot of staff. There's a place that, if one of my family members came to visit, they could stay. It seemed to have a lot of activities, and it's close to our home. This would be the one we would go to.

My mother was at the Fountains hospice facility for whats called respite care so I, her full time caregiver could get a break for a few days and get a few things done. When she went in there on june 12th 2014, she was ok. When I went to see her at dinnertime the next day and two days later, she was in horrible shape. Weak, confused, unaware of why she was there. Her home hospice aide who went to take care of her in the morning, just like she does at home 5days a week in the morning, noticed there was something wrong. Mom had become dehydrated. Medical staff there should have noticed something was wrong and done something to help, but apparently did nothing! They didn't even follow my instructions as to her clothing as she is urinary incontinent and hates adult diapers. I provided adult pull up incontinent panties and extra urinary pads which they did not use! I would not, in any way recommend this facility to anyone for any reason!

Beware of the purchase contract. We had a 90% refund contract. My mother died in 2008. We have not as yet seen one penny of our contracted refund. They have not "been able to sell" the Apt. in 6 years!! Buyer beware.

My sister was at The Fountains at Cedar Parke. I found this facility in your website. She was in a guest suite for a couple of months before she became a permanent resident. The room looked comfotable and well-decorated. The refrigerator, microwave and sink were topnotch. They had a rehabilitation center on site and also all levels of care. They took the residents shopping and there was a service vehicle for doctor's appointments. The dining room was very nice. A lot of the residents complained that the portions were small, but they could actually have more if they asked. I thought the facility was just trying to cut-down on food waste. And there was also a snack cafe. Although, they could do better if they provided two meals a day instead of one. After a few months there, my sister walked better and was definitely more social.

The Fountains seemed like a nice place but my sister didn't want to live there. She didn't like the area. She's not yet 60 and she thought the people were too old there. The facility was clean, neat, bright and well kept. The apartments were nice but I don't think it was financially feasible.

Everything was good at the Fountains but my brother in law couldn't afford it. The staff was great and did everything to try to get us in. The place was fantastic. They had a pool, they had exercise daily and it's actually a country club kind of place.

We were looking for a place for my parents-in-law and we went to The Fountains. It was located conveniently near our house and we had a lot of positive feedback from our neighbors. It was like an apartment building with extra help, not like a hospital at all. The facility was very neat and clean. The dining room was beautiful and lovely. We went on a Sunday so there were only a few staff but the ones we ran into were pleasant. A bus takes the residents to the malls, movies and churches. Some of the activities were sing alongs, cocktail hour and movies, and there was also a library.

I really like this facility, my father once was a resident of this place and when he moved to another facility to be closer to his family it was hard to move from here for him because he loved everyone there. The offer rooms that are set up exactly like an upscale apartment. The residents can a very independent life and enjoy their lives however they choose to while they receive the individual car they need. I like the way the staff goes out of their way just to make sure each resident feel like they are king or queen of the world. Staff is so professional and really love their jobs and the residents.
