Mom was a resident of the Estates for five years, and we feel that it was the best possible place for her. The facility is comfortable and inviting, and she received excellent care from attentive and caring staff. Mom had many opportunities to participate in appropriate activities; she especially enjoyed singing and fishing. Margaret, Tess, and Diane deserve special recognition for cheerfully taking care of the "small" things that greatly improved Mom's quality of life. I highly recommend the Estates to anyone looking for a home for their loved ones.

Woodbury Estates is a little more expensive than the other facility. I liked that the memory care unit doesn't appear to be locked. All the residents have little wristbands on. If they go near the elevator, the alarm goes off. They look like they have a lot of freedom. My mom was able to get a small 1-bedroom apartment with a small sitting room, as opposed to just a studio with a bedroom and a bathroom. I really liked that. I think that they have a better grasp on caring for people in memory care than the other facility. The marketing director was very knowledgeable. She has been in this business for a very long time, and she seems very dedicated. I got there at lunchtime, and they were serving beef stew, which smelled amazing. The facility is clean. It's a little dated, but that's OK because my mom is not going to care about that. They made a point to make the hallway short, so the residents don't have that far to walk. They have a lovely courtyard.

Horrible medical service and dirty rooms. Don't meet the needs of any medical needs. Mom fell down and broke her hip. Several times we tried to get a nurse at night cause she fell and nobody would answer. She also had money stole from her.

My mother has been in Woodbury Estates for a month now and I'm concerned. They're very nice people, but they can't seem to be able to get her to bathe. She hasn't taken a bath in over a month and I'm not happy. Her room is kept clean because I go over there and take care of it. They have a lot of activities there and they're pretty good about drawing her out and socializing. The food is good, and she loves it. The staff is pretty good. It's a nice facility.

We found a place for my dad and he is settled in at Woodbury Estates now. We were happy with the staff and everything seems to be fine. He likes the room and my dad is really comfortable there. The meals were the best thing that he liked. He gets three meals and they taste good. With regards to the activities, they have various exercises and they go to outings.

The first person we met at Woodbury Estates was the marketing person. He was a caring and wonderful person. We talked to one of the residents who said that my mom will love it there and that was good to hear. I was going to have my mother move in there but I had heard some things from other people that had stayed there before. I was just concerned about things that I heard from other people. Aesthetically, it was a nice building, it was laid out very nicely. It had a chapel and a nice dining and coffee area. We took a tour up to the memory care and they had very nice rooms. They allowed pets but they wanted a deposit. I just wasn't sure about that place.
