Talamore Senior Living Woodbury went out of their way to be friendly. They showed me around and gave me lots of choices. They're very open and very talkative about their facility. Their apartments were probably the most unique of all the places I visited. Some of them were oddly shaped, so that they didn't look like an apartment building. They have angled walls and bigger patio areas on some. The staff was very nice. After I left they called and asked how I liked their tour and all that kind of stuff, so that's good, because they didn't forget you right away. They came to the senior center in Cottage Grove to do a sales pitch. They brought dinner from their facility and their food was fantastic. Their dining area was big and open. It's a relatively new facility.

There's one thing I didn't like about Talamore Senior Living Woodbury and that was that they didn't have a movie theater. They are two years old, so it's very bright, had high ceilings in the apartment, granite countertops, and a den. They have different sized rooms, not just one-bedroom plus den. They have different-sized dens and offices. They have a lot of amenities. Everybody was very friendly, helpful, and smiling. They've got good staff. It's very clean, very updated, very pleasant, and has open spaces with lots of sun. The minute I went in there, I just felt comfortable and safe. They have somebody available 24/7 even for independent living. If you needed something or if you had an emergency, somebody could come and help you and that made me feel safe there.

I toured Talamore Senior Living Woodbury. I like it because it's brand new. They just opened last March. I like the variety of floor plans. I like the activities. The food looks good. I like the staff. I like the fact that it's a continuum of care where I'm starting at independent living, and I'll go to assisted care whenever I need to, and then I'll go to memory care or Parkinson's, whatever. It's completely furnished. It has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and washer and dryer.
