If a loved one has to go to a rehab or long-term care facility, there is nowhere they will get better care. The facility is wonderful. The grounds are beautiful. And the best part is the staff. My wonderful wife of 59 years recently passed away at Masonic. For the last five years she had been in and out of Masonic a great number of times. Late last year she was in transitional care, and finally was transferred to long-term. Neither of us could have coped with what she went through without the amazing people at Masonic. It is not just their competency. It is their loving kindness and care. They have my eternal thanks for what they did, and how they did it for Karen.

My mom is at Minnesota Masonic Home Bloomington. She is under quarantine, so we haven't heard much of the community. They've kept her separate because of her surgery and she doesn't have the vaccination. The place is very clean, and the people are fabulous. There are activities, but she can't participate. There are community outreach things that they do things for the whole community. There are a lot of things that are kind of closed due to COVID like a little store that's not accessible to anybody. But it's a nice facility. Everybody except for one woman (I think she was brand new or something) did not know what was going on. So everyone but one person was great. I've asked my mom about the food, and she said she had a couple of poor meals but most of them are very good.

I'm in Minnesota Masonic Home Bloomington, it's a rehab place. It's very, very clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, and the nurses and aides are good people. I have my food delivered to my room. They bring you a menu every day so you can pick from it. The food is very good. There's a lot of walking but they also have the rowing machine, bicycles, and several other types of rehab equipment. For entertainment, I believe once or twice a month; they do a show or have someone come in and do something.

My 90 year old mother was sent here after a stay at Fairview Southdale to the Transisitional Care Unit to recover from surgery. The care has been excellent and incredible. All members of the staff treated her with dignity, compassion, and intensive care that covered all areas of rehab. The food was excellent, the rooms adequate, and the level of professionalism outstanding, I would like to thank all who contributed to my mom's care!

My brother-in-law was in Minnesota Masonic Home. His room wasn't anything elaborate, but it was relatively homey and pleasant. He was able to enjoy a couple of outings while he was still well. His diet was restricted, but he didn't complain about the food. The place had no odor, the surroundings were clean and attractive.

My mom fell here because the aide was not watching so she didn't want her back in her room. Then my mom had more surgery and when she was going to recover they told her she can't come back because she complained. That's so unprofessional of a health care facility.

I was very pleased with this facility. The staff were extremely friendly and always came over to discuss my grandmother's condition and progress with me when I came to visit. She was also very pleased with her care, saying how friendly and respectful the staff was. I was also surprised to hear that the dining options were excellent. I was very satisfied with the variety of options given to patients. My grandmother loves Lorna Doone cookies and staff members would bring them to her as a special treat. This made me feel like the employees really care for her well-being and wanted her to feel better and enjoy her experience at the facility to the best of her ability. My family has had negative experiences in the past with over-medication and lack of care, but this facility far exceeded our expectations. The staff members always made her health a priority and checked on her status before administering unnecessary drugs. Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this facility.

This facility was very clean and well maintained. The grounds were well kept and seemed inviting. The staff was friendly and competent. Call lights seemed to be answered in a timely manner and residents needs and concerns were address appropriately. Meal time seemed well organized and dietary concerns were addressed for each resident. The staff on duty at the time I was there had all worked there for a reasonable amount of time and seemed invested in their positions. The residents were respected and treated with care. Overall the facility seemed very inviting and clean. I especially liked how the facility had several different areas for different levels of care. They had assisted living apartments all the way to full care units. I would imagine that the different levels of care all on the same campus would help make these transitions easier for the families as well as the residents. The facility had a quaint study for the residents as well as a small cafe setting in the entrance that seemed very nice. I also liked how the facility had a small beauty/barber shop that looked inviting.

My mother lived there for four years and enjoyed her stay. Very proactive when new services were requested.

My Grandmother was living here for a period of time after she got out of the hospital last year. She was in there to rehab and get stronger. My initial impression of the place was not very good. I just did not get a good vibe. After visiting her there daily for several weeks my opinion changed completely. The entire staff was extremely friendly. My Grandmother got rehab daily and was a lot stronger by the time she got out of there. Another bonus was the food they served was delicious! After seeing firsthand the experience she had there, as well as listening to her rave about it after she left, I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I toured this facility, and was highly impressed at first glance. It is an absolutely beautiful facility, both inside and out. They offer many amenities to the residents... from the general store to the beauty shop, the museum, library, games room, and fitness center, they provide a great selection of activities to take part in. Outside they have an amazing scenic landscape, with paths to walk on. Most importantly though, is the staff. I was impressed by them as well... they all seemed so on top of everything. And they all really seemed to care about each and every resident that was there. Great facility, great amenities and great staff.

The Minnesota Masonic Home of Bloomington is a very nice facility. The apartments are very spacious with a warm homey feeling. There's even a private patio with each unit so that residents can sit outdoors and enjoy the gorgeous landscaping. Residents who I visited there said they were very happy with the way the staff supported them and treated them with respect and dignity. The meals that are served in the dining room look very appetizing and the facility smells good, it is very clean. Seniors who I visited there said they felt very at home with the unique apartments- each one looks different instead of having cookie cutter units. The Home Health Aides were friendly and very accommodating when assisting residents in dressing and bathing. The seniors were happy with the fact that they felt they could be very independent while still getting help when they needed it, such as the medication set up and transportation services to help them go out and do some weekly shopping without having to call relatives.
