We visited Penny Lane for my father. It was more like a private home with a small amount of residents. As far as public transportation like a bus affiliated with the residents that drove them, there were lots of public transportation, but I thought they needed more private shuttles that would drive the residents to where they needed to go. It was worth recommending because it was more like a home rather than an institution type thing. It had a fair amount of freedom given to the residents, but they still would oversee medications and provided them guidance. The meals were prepared and included in the monthly fee, which was nice.
