I didn't like the memory care unit at Heights Crossing. I didn't like that you don't have a private bedroom in the memory care. They are near a mall and a hospital. I toured both assisted living and memory care. The memory unit is old and worn out. I don't think that you should be paying between $8,000 and 10,000 and not have any privacy. You have to share a bathroom. You have to share common space. You have to have an open bedroom. There's no privacy for $8,000 to $10,000 a month. You might as well go to a nursing home then, if you're not going to have privacy. I spoke with two staff members, and they were both very approachable and very accommodating. They took the time with me. I can't say anything bad about them. Their rooms were a smaller size. One bedroom was open to the other. If you're watching television or something, you would hear the other person's television. If you have company, they would see your company. Then there's a little common area, and you share a bathroom. In terms of location, it was off the highway. There was a mall across the street, and there's a hospital nearby. It's not on a busy road.
