Homecrest Assisted Living was a nice house, but it didn't have the outdoor setting like the one where my mom lives now. They put their residents to bed after lunch, and I didn't like that. The staff member was great. She was very knowledgeable and very sweet. The place was very updated, but it was run more like a business and not a home. The rooms looked very nice. They had a nice exercise room and they had a lot of activities. They had a nice living room with a TV.

My sister has moved into Homecrest Assisted Living. She's only been there two nights, but everything has been positive up to this point. I find the place to be clean and well lit. The staff are friendly and have been there for a number of years, which is always an encouraging sign. The owner of the place is quite business-like and efficient, so I had no reasons to have misgivings at this point. The food smelled awfully good. The facility is well kept inside and out. I find nothing to be discouraged about. She participated in meals, watching TV together, and conversations, but no organized things to my knowledge. I've been there a lot, but I haven't been there so much in the evenings when those kinds of things would probably take place. I have no criticisms at this point at all.

Homecrest Assisted Living has provided excellent compassionate care for my Mother for several years. Homecrest has a warm family-like atmosphere. The director and staff are receptive, professional and care for your loved ones as if they were their own family members. The facility is always neat and clean and my Mother loves the meals. The owner is very involved and keeps me informed of any changes. Holidays and special occasions are celebrated with style and elegance and enjoyed by all. My family and I are very pleased our Mother is at this excellent home.

The staff at the house made it an inviting place to stay and the care my mother received was excellent. She was cared for with great expertise and her stay was a vast improvement from the care and support she had received during her stay at an institution assisted living in our neighborhood. They supported her up to her final transition to Hospice and I still to this day check in on them, refer them to others and consider them family.
