My mom (Nancy) lived there for 5 years until her passing last month. The staff treated her like family. They knew who she was within her first week of being there. They knew my mom loved her Hallmark shows on TV and drinking her Sprite. The nursing staff always kept me informed of any medical changes in my mom immediately via a phone call. If I signed her up for an activity or craft, the team made sure she attended by going to her room and gently persuading her to attend. The main reason why I give FHH (5) stars was because during her hospice time, so many staff members came in to hug her and me. I witnessed staff members cry when they saw her fading away. The director of nursing (Rachel) sat there with me for several hours telling me her favorite memories of my mom. Rachel was even there when my mom took her last breath and was the first person to hug me. My mom never once complained about FHH or the people that worked there for her 5 year stay. My mom always said she loved Rachel and the ice cream at FHH. This place is money well spent for your loved one and your peace of mind.

Forest Hills Heights Located in Bel Air North Community is a little older. They were a little outdated in the common areas and there wasn't as much opportunity. Like, the views from the residents' rooms were not good views and the rooms were a little small. Everything was clean, though, and the staff seemed happy. It was a much bigger area. It wasn't small and personal.

My mother-in-law is in Forest Hills Heights Located in Bel Air North. She likes it a lot. It's a little more expensive than we anticipated, but we're trying to keep her there. She's in the memory care unit. The staff has been great. Everybody has been very helpful and very kind to her. She likes the staff. It's very clean and they have a lot of attendants who care for them. They have her up in the morning and help her get dressed and help her shower and different things. They're very good. They have activities also at the church. Also, my mother-in-law likes bingo a lot, so she goes up and enjoys bingo. The food looks and smells good. They have a couple of times a week a Catholic service. She can go out into the common area and watch TV and be with other people her age. It's a good value for the money compared to other nursing homes and facilities.

I went to Forest Hills Heights Located in Bel Air North. It was too much like a nursing home. I wanted my sister to be someplace where she didn't feel as much like she was in a nursing home. They had nice amenities, but I got that nursing home vibe, and it just wouldn't leave me. It wasn't bad; it was my perception. The girl that took us around was very nice, and she did a wonderful job. She was good. They had different options of rooms available. They were just a room with a closet and a bathroom. One room was extremely small; it was almost like walking into a walk-in closet. And that was one of their display models. They had it fixed up nicely, but there wasn't much room for the resident to move around in it, so that turned me off. It was clean and it was OK. It was all on one level, and it had these wings that went out. They had a nice dining area. They had a beauty shop, physical therapy, and a separate dining area if the resident wanted the family to come in and have a little party or something in the dining room. It was nice.

Forest Hills Heights Located in Bel Air North was larger. It can accommodate more residents and they have more options for rooms. They have studios, rooms for couples, and larger ones. I went during the holidays so the administrator wasn't there that week, so the assistant administrator gave me the tour and that person did a great job. The receptionist was also fantastic and very welcoming. It had very beautiful surroundings. All the residents seemed happy. I saw a lot of activities going on. They had some of them doing puzzles and nerf shooting games with cups on a table. I thought it was very lovely. It's even decorated beautifully for Christmas. They have hair services so you can schedule an appointment to get your hair done. They have a doctor that you can use, a nurse as well, and a podiatrist that comes in. They have different pricing based on the level of care. They do not accommodate Medicaid so they determine whether they'll keep you based on how much of your own pay you're bringing in. Potentially, if you can't pay, you're going to have to find someplace else to live.

My mother moved to Forest Hills Heights Located in Bel Air North. We chose this place because they had a lot of activity and they were very nice. You could say that the people were active there, the staff was efficient, and things were clean. We thought it was a good choice. The staff is great, and from what I've seen, the food looks wonderful. They have a ton of activities and the place itself is beautiful. So far, we're very happy.

I went to Forest Hills Heights Located in Bel Air North to tour it. The place was very clean and very nice. The people there were very helpful and very pleasant. I toured just one of the rooms and one of the hallways, so I didn't tour the whole place. The only thing that I thought about it was that it was big, and I didn't want my brother to go into a place that was that big. When you first walk in, the sitting area or the waiting area is huge, it was very big, so that's kind of what I didn't like about it. It was the bigness of it and the long hallways my brother had to walk to go eat dinner and stuff. Where his bedroom is going to be and where things are located, it was kind of far away for him to be able to walk with a walker that far, but it was very nice, very clean, and very pleasant. It was one I would have considered had it not been so big. That's about it though. It was comparable to the prices and stuff at the other places. They were very nice and very helpful, and they followed up with me until I decided what I wanted to do and where I want to put my brother. It wasn't a long visit, and we didn't go over the activities or anything like that. We didn't have a discussion that was that long; it was less than an hour that we talked. I got a packet from them that discussed everything, but the walk itself wasn't very long. The accommodation is not an apartment. You can buy a refrigerator to put in the room that he would be in. It was pretty much a bedroom and a closet. The gentleman who assisted me was very accommodating, very nice, and followed up with me.

I visited Forest Hills Heights Located in Bel Air North and the person who conducted the tour was very professional and very polite. The assisted living facility seemed very clean and all the staff seemed nice. They were only able to show us the single studio, which was not large enough for what my parents were looking for. They didn't have one of the larger ones available for us to look at. The room that we saw, although it was nice, was nowhere near big enough for my parents. At the time, that was the only room they showed open, and when I spoke to him on a follow-up, he said that if one of the larger rooms became available, would I be interested in coming back and looking at a larger room. I told them I would have to talk to my parents about that. It looks like a very nice facility. It's very clean and everything seemed up-to-date. They had an activities menu that looked like it had a lot of different activities. I didn't find any issue with the place. They had different activity clubs like a reading club and a gardening club. They had different other activities like bingo and movie nights. They had a whole big calendar full of different events every day, throughout the day. There was always something to do. We also talked about how they had doctors that come to the facility to do doctor visits. The only thing they didn't have that came from regular visits was the dentist. They also talked about how they have in-house religious services for multiple denominations. They didn't have to go to church. The church would come to them so it all seemed very nice. They included 3 meals a day with a varied menu.

Forest Hills Heights in Bel Air North is a good facility. I have no problems with it except the price. The staff is very polite and very helpful. They treat my friend with the utmost respect and dignity. The staff always seems to be very cheerful and happy, which I like to see, because if you're happy in what you do, you do your job well. I've not tried the food, but she seems to think that it is pretty decent. I would probably agree with her, too, that she gets a good balanced meal and it's provided. She's happy with it and so am I. They have tons of activities and she's into all of them. They have everything from board games to exercise in the morning to sewing, knitting, painting, and arts and crafts. She does them all and enjoys them. I could put her into a four-star hotel for what I'm paying there, and she would have a much bigger room. The room is suitable, but it's just like a little cubbyhole. She has her own bathroom. There are a lot of good things about it, but for the kind of money I'm paying, I would like to have more. I think it's too expensive. The building itself is very neat and very clean. I've never had any problem with that at all.

Forest Hill Heights located In Bel Air North is wonderful. My dad's room is lovely but I haven't seen their dining area because of the COVID. He doesn't have a kitchenette in his room because this is not independent living, it's assisted and nursing care. They have an activities director.

I moved my mother into Forest Hill Heights about two weeks ago. It had a good reputation, good recommendations, and they only base the price on the level of care you need. If you needed a high level of care, which would be 3, it was one lump sum as opposed to other places. The staff members were very good. The rooms are nice. They let you bring in your own stuff if you want to so that you can personalize the room to make it comfortable for the person. They have activities. Things are a little different right now with COVID. They used to take you out and do stuff like that. They are known to have good food. They have activities inside just for the residents. They do different activities inside for them and they have no reported cases of COVID, which is another reason why I chose it. They have very strict guidelines and no reported cases.

This facility has very caring and attentive personnel. They take great care in making sure that your loved one is well taken care of. The rooms are spacious, and have their own bathrooms. The staff listens attentively to any concerns that you have, and tries to address them to your satisfaction. There are so many activities for the residents, that there is something of interest for everyone. We had our loved one in another facility that was much more expensive, and her basic personal needs were not being met there. Concerns that we had with basic care were met with an attitude, and little or no action. This is not the case with Forest Hill Heights. They truly care for your loved one, and try their best to accommodate the many needs of each resident. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

Forest Hill Heights was very nice. They were remodeling and adding different things which I thought were nice for the people. They had a very nice calendar of events. The lady I spoke to was very nice, too. The people were out and about and just sitting in the day rooms.

Our dad was in FHH for over a year. The greatest strength of the facility is the staff. Everyone was caring, professional, thoughtful and communicated well with the family. There were activities in the building and a variety of outings. The building was kept clean as was our dad's room. Updates made to the building have made a great difference for the residents and changes taking place with further enhance the living experience. When asked about FHH, dad always shared that everyone was so nice to hm.

Forest Hill Heights was very caring. It's perfect. It's just what we need. I love this place, it's very clean and the staff is very knowledgeable. We had some good conversations about a lot of things. I love the dining area, they had several couples who were there and we were able to talk to them. They're very caring and accommodating, and I think we would fit in quite well there.

Forest Hill Heights Assisted Living has a nice variety of food and there are choices for every meal. Housekeeping is excellent. I don't utilize too many of their services. I'm just here because my family is in Europe and I'm not to be left alone. Everything is quite comfortable. You had your choice of bringing your own furniture or utilizing theirs at no cost. There are different sized rooms and I have a smaller room, but the bathroom is really nice with the heat and the shower. It's well laid out. They do allow pets. I have a turtle and he is with me. They have something going 24 hours a day. They have what they call their night owl schedule, which is good for people who can't sleep. I'm not a Bingo or a game person, I'm a reader, and the county library bus comes here every three weeks and you can request whatever you want and they'll bring it to you. It's a good program. They have a lot of trainees that are young, and they lack a little in orientation. I'm planning on coming back over this Christmas. My appetite is not that good, but the variety covers just about every need in all of the different types of people we have here. I need very little help and the only constant help I need is in the dining room. They help the people there when they need one. It's a healthy situation. They have everything that we need. They bring in things to do. They print a schedule for the whole month, which is good, because you can plan ahead. If you want to go to the drugstore, they have a little bus, and it goes a couple of times a month. They have Bingo and a lot of people coming in for music. It's a very good setup. I'm very satisfied.

Forest Hill Heights stinks. They don't bring my mom to take her medicine. They didn't go to Walmart today; they went yesterday, and they didn't tell her. They have nothing but 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom for $5600 a month, and that's it. I wouldn't want to go there, and I wouldn't want to be there. It's just too tiny.

Forest Hill Heights was a nice place. They seemed friendly and nice. I didn’t sample the food since it wasn’t meal time when we were there. They just took us to the cafeteria and showed us around. The staff was helpful and informative.

My dad moved into Forest Hill Heights about a week ago. They are wonderful to him and he made friends the first day he arrived. Patty is who we worked with and she is great. He changed his mind 2 times before moving in. The one thing I will say, is 90% of the people we have seen there are much older and need much more care than my dad. He is 81 and I would say most are much older than him. Other than that it is great. They are in the process of remodeling the facility and this will take a while to complete. The room he has is large and he is lucky enough to have a bathroom of his own. I would highly recommend Forest Hill Heights.
