We're working with Resthaven Nursing & Rehab Center for my mother. We went on two different tours, and both of them were very good. We were impressed with the facilities (both inside and out), the personnel and the staff. They seemed to be helping us get things moving. They have both private and semi-private rooms, and all of them are nice. Actually, the semi-privates are almost like privates. The only thing different is that it shares a bathroom. There's enough separation between the living quarters where the beds are that it almost seems like you're in a private room. They have audiobook sessions, and they have games. They have a movie theater that looks like a real movie theater. They show movies. They have a place of worship where they have different ones come in, no matter what your faith is. They have areas outside for walking and gathering and meeting. Their dining facilities are very nice. However, one of the staff members who was the point person that we need to talk to all of a sudden was not available because of some situation at home and hasn't been for more than a week. We're trying to get something done, and we're having to start dealing with somebody else.

My mother was admitted to Resthaven in June 2020. Two days after admission to the quarantine floor her personal cell phone went missing and was never recovered. No compensation was offered. The patients there have no phones in their rooms, so speaking to her was difficult. They have an employee who sets up face time appointments and this is the only way I was ever able to speak to my mother. The nursing staff has no clue when you call for an update. My mother was essentially a hostage. No visitors allowed to "protect" the patients. However, my mother caught cover-19 from their staff who brought this horrible virus to the facility by not following basic PPE guidelines. My mother suffered and died alone in the hospital due to their negligence and COVID-19 restrictions. This facility staffs the bare minimum to get by all to make money. That is their only goal.

This is a for profit facility and they do whatever they can to make that profit!! My father again began receiving bills from the facility a year after she passed away. His bill was paid in full each month. I have attempted to contact the financial person each month since the bills began but no one ever answers the phone and will not call me back. There were issues with his care and the employees while he was there. I would have to file a formal complaint before anything would be resolved. The facility is nice but that does not help the residents. The CNAs were good to my father but that was because I was good to them. The nurses actually stood by and watched as my father threw up with me trying to assist him. The only move that was made toward him was to tell me to move him from the hall. This was one of countless issues in the short time he was there

I visited this facility 2 weeks ago. The building is VERY beautiful. Not what I expected from a nursing home. The staff was very friendly, caring, and all the residents looked very happy. This nursing home has a lot of amenities including its own movie theatre, very large chapel, a sports lounge with actual sports memorabilia, and several other lounging areas. The design of the rooms are unique. Instead of residents in a semi-private room divided by a curtain as I've always seen, the rooms are divided by their own bathroom and shower which makes the room feel like a private room. Overall this home is very nice. I would recommend this home to anyone trying to find a loving and caring atmosphere for your family.

Very caring and helpful staff that are stretched thin. Direct care staff professional and genuinely concerned. Calls to Director of Nursing were delegated to other staff to return is only time I was less than satisfied. Had to also repeatedly remind staff my dad was in hospice and why we were pushing for certain decisions

Clean, friendly and caring! The nurses, CNA'S and staff are warm and eager to help. I see everyone smiling and tjey really seem to caee about the resident's needs.

The care at this place is terrible. The nursing staff seems competent, but the CNA's do as little as possible. The management doesn't seem to be aware, or doesn't seem to care what's going on. I would never recommend this place.

I have a friend who had to go to Resthaven Nursing and Rehab Center, and she was telling me how nice they are, how everything is pretty clean, and she enjoys being there. I thought it was clean. When my memory gets to be too bad, that is where I will go. It is nice; really, it is. It is a little high, expense-wise, but the people were very nice. I liked the way it was cleaned; that was my first impression.
