My mom is very happy at Calcasieu Community Care Center. It is a new place in Lake Charles. It is only two years old. The employees are quite friendly and very helpful. My mom's room is roomy. It's like an apartment with a TV, a bed, and a recliner. It has a large bathroom, which she needs. I haven't tried their food, but when I visited my mom, she said that they're getting closer to what she enjoys, and they're preparing it in the way that she likes it. It's a learning experience for both of them, so it's improving. My mom used to be in her shell, staying in her room, but now she is more social because of the programs that they have. She seems very happy with them. There is nothing negative about the community.

My mom moved into the Calcasieu Community Care Center. The facility is new. It's only been there for four years. They have all kinds of activities that they do. My mom says the food is good. She likes it. They have bingo and live music. They bring in petting zoos. They have a salon, a gym, and a courtyard.
