"My mom is a resident of Golden Age of Welsh. They seem very professional. The place is clean. It's not fancy. It's not luxurious. The facility is an old city hospital. It's been a nursing facility for 15 or 20 years. The location is great. It's a small town. It's close to her house and to my stepdad. The staff, I mean they're not perfect. They've had a few minor issues but nothing that I would complain about. They have a regular activity schedule. They have bingo. They have planned activities for the residents, and the people come in and have little concerts and barbecues."

" This is one of the premiere VA Homes of Louisiana. The staff are very accommodating to the need of all the residents. I spent 2-1/2 months after a knee replacement that left me wheelchair bound. The care that I received was first class. The staff treated me with up most respect and was treated like family. The ladies that work in therapy where very knowledgeable but demanding for my recovery. I jokingly told them that they were trying kill me but their expertise had me walking in my short stay there. I can't thank them enough for their dedication not only to me but to see them display so much dedication to all the veterans in their care."

"My father is in Encore Healthcare and Rehab. It is fantastic, and they have worked wonders with him because he had a tendency of falling. This is the first time that he has an actual rehab, and he is doing really well. He likes the place, and he likes the workers there. Everybody has been very nice to us and very caring, and we are very happy with it. It is very clean, and they are always cleaning. It is a new facility -- only a year old -- and it is really being kept up. He is in the rehab section and in a private room, which is very roomy, and he's got a huge bathroom and a shower. Really, we are very satisfied. He loves his food, so he would definitely be complaining if the food wasn't good. "
