My mom is a resident of Golden Age of Welsh. They seem very professional. The place is clean. It's not fancy. It's not luxurious. The facility is an old city hospital. It's been a nursing facility for 15 or 20 years. The location is great. It's a small town. It's close to her house and to my stepdad. The staff, I mean they're not perfect. They've had a few minor issues but nothing that I would complain about. They have a regular activity schedule. They have bingo. They have planned activities for the residents, and the people come in and have little concerts and barbecues.

The people who have had their parents in the Golden Age of Welsh nursing home said that the care level was good. I toured it and my mom will be moving in the new section, it was the part that got destroyed in the hurricane last year so there's a new section there now. The room is spacious, clean, and inviting. It had its own air conditioning, and air conditioning control. I don't know about the other rooms. This is one of the four wings. I don't know how the rest of the wings are, but this one is excellent. I thought the staff was great, however I've put in calls for a week for them to call me back, and they haven't. I'm beginning to hesitate again but when I was there, they were wonderful. They have a nice room where we can visit her. It's a small activity room with actual chairs and stuff in it.
