We frequently visit people we know who are residents of Kidron Bethel Village. So far it's been relatively good. It's a little spread out in terms of proximity but, once you learn how to get around, its very clean. My aunt and other friends live there and they seem to be very pleased with the place. They have all the things you might want, like a saltwater pool in their wellness center, exercise facilities, there's therapy, and everything you could really need. They have all the activities you could think of, they have a lot of religious things as well. My aunt and uncle are in separate rooms because they are in different levels. I can see no problem with the staff there, they're warm and welcoming, and I have heard no complaints from my aunt and uncle either. They're also non-profit.

The rooms in assisted living and health care, terrible. The floors are Berber carpet, no pad on top of concrete. If you fall, expect to hurt yourself badly. The windows in many rooms overlook a parking lot. So keep your blinds shut.

We already put some money down on Kidron Bethel Village. I have always liked it. We looked at an apartment first, but it was too closed in. We looked at a condo, and that was it. We liked the way they showed us around. The only problem we're having now is I'm not yet 62. The community was very nice. The girl who showed us around was fantastic, answered all the questions, and showed us everything, like the pool, the exercises, and the staff.

Bethel Village pretty much had everything we needed. We looked at an apartment on the second floor; it felt so closed in, and I really didn't like going up and down in an elevator every day. We looked at a duplex, and it was just right on the sidewalk to where you can go and eat or swim. It was in a perfect area -- exactly what we wanted. They were remodeling it. Everybody was very nice, and we got greeted by the people that lived there. The lady that interviewed us was very nice. They took care of the yards, and it was perfect.

Back in April I visited this facility with a friend. The rooms are clean. I have never walked into a retirement home and had a place smell so clean. The atmosphere of it was clean and welcoming. It did not "smell" like a nursing home. Did not look like a nursing home, and did not feel like a nursing home. I talked to a laundry staff about my family members clothing and what would be the process. She was very courteous and answered my questions even though she was putting away clothes at the time. They obviously have great people working there. The only complaint was one of the nurse aide seemed too busy to be bothered with me. She was sitting a little table. Other than that all the staff was great and the food looked and smelled delicious.
