My aunt was at the assisted living facility of Edencrest at Timberline in Urbandale. It has a lot of activities, which I was happy to see. We got to eat lunch with her there, and it had an area that you could walk around outside without having the doors locked because it was kind of in a circle. She liked that really well. One of the activities she did with them was planting some roses in their garden. She stayed there about three months, and the staff was really good. They always came in and reminded her of who they were and what function they had there. Their food was really nice, too. She was also able to sit at different tables that she wanted to. She liked not being assigned a place, but sitting down where she wanted to talk with people. She made a little circle of friends there.
