This is my third visit here for therapies. Staff is very tolerant and work with me to help me get what I want and need. Good food and when I push my button they come to help right away. Staff follows all safety procedures to keep me safe. When I am negative they help me accomplish what I need to get done. I would recommend manorcare to anyone to anyone

My sister did rehab at ManorCare Health Services of Dubuque. They were excellent. They took her on such short notice. I called about 1:00 that day, and we had her admitted there by 5:00. They were very helpful. We couldn't go in and visit because of the virus, but they allowed us to call her. They were very apologetic that we couldn't get in to see her. If she was sick or she fell, they would call us right away. She never complained about the food, and she's a picky eater. The workers were joyful and happy, and they tried to make their residents happy. She needed a lot of help moving about and a lot of help with her ADLs, and she had therapy seven days a week. They kept her active to help her improve her health. They did really good with her. They would have the residents sitting out by their door and do cards or bingo and little games. They did excellent with the limited things they could do. I'm very satisfied with that place.

We have had multiple family members stay as residents. The rehabilitation is extremely good. There were able to get my mother healthy after a fall so she could come home with us. The staff was kind and caring to all of the residents. The rooms are on par with other homes in the city, but the cleaning staff is better than other homes. No problems with the residents being neglected.

Our Certified Nurse Aides students have gone to ManorCare for years during their 30 hours of Clinical rotation. ManorCare staff are always happy to work with our students in training them for future employment, plus, provide a great oversight of what it's like working in long-term care during their class' orientation. Students frequently comment on their evaluations of the class on what a wonderful experience it was for them being at ManorCare with the staff and the residents. Many who have graduated from our program have gone onto being ManorCare employees - they were that impressed! I wholeheartedly recommend ManorCare as an upscale community for short-term rehab and long-term placement!

The Facility is in a great location on a quiet side street. Contact with one of my close friends was easy, and safety of visitors and residents. The facility along with the surrounding grounds were clean and well kept. Privacy was given to conduct a small church service with my friend. On various occasions I was able to do crafts and socialize with my friend and other residents. I however wish there was more regular opportunity for residents to go outside.
