My mom is in Luther Manor Grand Meadows and they've been wonderful with her. She was very confused when she came there and upset that we could not come in. She is almost through with her antibiotic and she is doing very well now. She loves her room and is now remarking how beautiful it is there and that she has a big, beautiful bathroom. Obviously, she is happy there. I spoke with the nurse this morning and the nurse said she is the sweetest lady. I told my mom that and she said that was nice. That's all she has been commenting how nice everybody has been to her. She loves her therapist, too. I've always been happy with Luther and I've never had anything bad that happen other than this Covid thing. They do offer a lot of activities if the residents are interested in it. When she went in there, they asked me what she was interested in, but I could not help in that way because she is not really a game player. The building is brand new, beautiful, and her room is beautiful. The dining room is a nice bright area; I've seen it and it is nice. She raves about her nice, big bathroom. My mom has back trouble and she likes to lay down and she said her bed is very comfortable, and they had a nice little sofa for her to sit at. We've been able to visit with her outside of her room because everything is first floor there and they have all the room numbers on the windows outside so you can find your person who was in there. We visit with her and we use the phone which is confusing for a person on her nineties to talk on the phone when she sees us through the window. But I've got to say they have been very accommodating. We called them and we told them we wanted to move over there and they made sure she is safe moving. They've been very good, as far as I can see. I see those other family members visiting their relatives outside the window, too, when I've been over there. This facility is very new, and it is set-up very nice. They have a clubhouse where you can go and rent a bigger space if you wanted a family together, they offer that. It is expensive but it's not any more expensive as anything else in town. There are more expensive places and there are cheaper places.

Luther Manor Grand Meadows was all on one level so I'll be able to get in and see my husband and get around there much more conveniently. I liked the size of the room that her is going to be in. It's much larger than where he's been. They also have full exercise facilities that look very nice.
