"My husband was put on hospice this last year. Home instead was recommended to help care for him after he came home, as I have some back issues of my own. He can’t walk any distance, but can take a few steps. He had a few different caregivers that were assigned to him. They would help him with food, drinks and anything else he needed. One gal, Amanda, was especially helpful. She would do a lot of extra cleaning and cooking. Each one had to be here 4 hours each, so that was 8 hours per day. Unfortunately, we were not able to continue paying for this so had to go with someone else. I sometimes wish we still had Amanda here to help out, but the new place is also very good help. I would certainly recommend Home instead for anyone that can pay for them."
