My mom was in the facility after getting Covid. She previously was in the hospital and another long term facility. Like most hospitals they ship you out to quick. The facility that she went to has since been bought out by another company. They discharged her to early and sent her home without even one bath or shower. So I got mom home and realized she needed more help. I was referred to Newburgh Healthcare and sent mom after a few days at home due to weakness ant fully rehabilitated. I can’t say enough great things about Newburgh Healthcare. The best thing is the staff cares at Newburgh Healthcare. They are privately owned and management cares. The nursing staff was very nice to mom and the CNAs were her angels caring for her daily. They would give her a bath each day and help her get dressed and go to the bathroom. The dietary staff made great meals and snacks everyday. The housekeepers kept her room and facility looking so good. If you are looking for a facility for rehabilitation for weakness or post surgery this is the place. It’s also a great place for a loved one for long term living. The therapy staff treats rehabilitation patients and long term patients like family. Newburgh Health Care has given mom another chance to live at home with family but in the future I know she has another family in Newburgh Healthcare. Again thank you Newburgh Health Care for being Moms Angels!!!

My husband is in Newburgh Health Care. He seems to be getting good care, the staff is fine, and they're friendly. The place is clean. My husband helped build the place years ago. I think they make excuses for keeping people there though. They seem to be well staffed, but I don't think they explained things like they should. His room is clean and it's a two-bedroom. He has a big window where he can see outside, and there's a bird-feeder outside the window. There's nothing wrong with the nursing home. I think I've seen them play bingo, a band played for them, and they sing with them. The parking area is fine and it's a pretty good size.

My grandmother recently transferred to another facility d/t poor health care follow up , thankfully the facility she transferred was able to recognize and treat accordingly.. I have voiced concerns with administrator. She lacked genuine concern, rude and hung up on me .. during my visit from out of town , I asked for chair to sit in while visiting since there is none in room , I was directed by nursing staff to get myself from dining room , meds left in room , electrical cords on bed , which to me is a fire/safety hazard , my grandmother dirty clothes left in floor ... Not impressed with level of care my grandmother was receiving.. I do not recommend this facility to anyone
