I think that all the people that work at West River Health Campus are wonderful. All the ones I've encountered are very kind and very helpful. They have a huge calendar of activities and mom has been playing bingo there. There's also a room where they can go and do puzzles or make arts and crafts stuff. There's lots of options. Mom's room is nice. It's completely furnished if you need it to be. It's got a twin bed, a TV cabinet, a little kitchenette with a microwave, a refrigerator (like a little mini dorm-size refrigerator), and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. There's lots of drawer space and closet space as well. We were able to move her bed in and then her recliner and there was plenty of room.

I thought West River Health Campus looked nice. It looked clean. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. She seemed very knowledgeable. She had worked through the system for a while, so she seemed very knowledgeable. She had recently gotten promoted to the position that she had there where she is taking people around. We liked her a lot. We toured about four others, and this is the only facility where the staff reached out afterward like how we had liked the tour. She was the only one that reached out afterward to see if we had any further questions, so that was kind of nice. They have activities. They take the residents out to different places. They had gone to a park, and they took them out to eat. They take them in small groups, which I thought was nice, and they would kind of rotate. The activity director was pretty impressive, too. She was very enthusiastic, and she had a lot of different little ideas. They do different things, and I like that. And then on Fridays, they have a little party for the residents. They call it happy hour and that was kind of nice. They had a big board where you could see the activities every day, so if the visitors wanted to come and join the residents, they could do that. It was visible to everybody, and that was kind of nice.

My wife is staying in the West River Health Campus. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. Although they're a little shorthanded right now, they're still covering everybody well. The food is good and they cater to the needs of the individual resident. So, I'm pretty happy with them. Due to the COVID situation, they don't have a lot of group activities, but they have individual ones where they separate them. My wife doesn't participate in too much, but they have the activities for her if she wants to. The rooms are very clean and the maintenance staff is always very, very helpful if you have any problems. We haven't had a chance of getting the TV hooked up, and they did that for us. Then they even hung a couple of pictures for us that I left there. They also call me if there are ever any issues or just to keep me informed on what's happening. They have newsletters and emails, too. So, they keep me in the loop on just about everything that's going on.

My sister has been in West River for about a month, and it's been good so far. She has a phone, TV, a bed, and closets. It’s clean and only six years old. She enjoys the food.
