I had a family member at this facility. There’s great long time staff whose care and compassion for the residents is evident as soon as you walk through the door. They really wanted my loved one to feel safe, at home, and cared for. The building is clean and the food is amazing. There is no where else I would prefer to care for a loved one. I could sleep at night because I didn’t have to worry. Thank you Bethel Manor for also being kind to me and considerate of both your residents needs and supportive of families.

The management of this facility is awful, mostly nonexistent. My wife is in this facility as a dementia patient. Her medicine was changed in June of 2025 to a medicine that I was told no one in the building had any experience with. This medicine made her incredibly stoic. I asked the nurse on duty about this and she had no idea that any medicine had been changed and that they should be closely monitoring my wife. When I was finally able to confront the administrator over this he acknowledged that this "was a failure of clinical oversight." Additionally, their billing department failed to properly bill Humana and/ or appeal the denials in a timely manner to ensure that I was reimbursed for private pay while Medicaid was determining eligibililty. Then they kept a double payment (private and medicaid) to pay for future monthly liability obligations.

My father stayed at this facility in the long term care facility. Terrible Nursing staff. The administrator never introduced himself to my father. He never introduced himself to me and my family. He wouldn’t even say hello When he walked by. The staff is very out of touch.

My mother moved into Bethel Manor for a couple of weeks before she passed away. We felt that she got wonderful care there. It was a secure ward, which was important to us. They had activities for her, I remembered her last meal was the thanksgiving dinner, which she had a week early, and they accommodated her for that. The staff was very good, they trimmed her toenails, they took care of her dietary needs, and theyre very personable with her. They even prayed with her on occasions, and when she passed, she was in prayer with a staff. She was in a shared room that had privacy, and they had a TV room and entertainment room which she took advantage of.

This place is good to an extent. Some are very helpful, but others are not. They seem to be a bit understaffed, and the amount of needs and residents seems to overpower them. When you have issues with their care, it is then that some of them become aloof and disinterested. And because of the large amount of work involved, many of them look for someone else to get it done. There are a few that work there that are quite unfriendly. It's a clean facility, and the food served is very good. It's a nursing home, so you can't expect miracles.
