"Southern Pines Gracious Retirement was beautiful. However, I didn't choose that one because I thought they were just a retirement community and not assisted living. It had a very friendly environment. The staff who accommodated me was wonderful. The rooms were very nice. That was probably my favorite facility as far as the appearance of the facility was concerned. Everything was excellent. They provided nice meals. They had a nice menu with lots of variety, and it was balanced. The dining area was beautiful. I would recommend them to others. "

"We will be moving my mom to Pine Knoll within the month. I liked this community. All the employees were very friendly and it was a very welcoming facility. The room that I saw was very neat and clean, and we were happy with it. I liked their common areas. They had a sanctuary there that we liked, too. They had a library and it was nicely laid out with a couple of sitting areas. They also had outdoor spaces that allowed people to be able to walk the grounds. All of those things were very nice."

"The people we met on the tour we delightful and engaged with my grandmother. They had alot of workshops and activities to help keep everyone busy. Their apartments were real nice and were actually in the middle of expanding a neighborhood of houses to be avaiable. In all the experience was great "

"We were in in Belle Meade for an hour and we saw only a few residents. I only met the woman who was in charge of marketing and she gave us a tour and showed us the rooms. "

"St. Joseph of the Pines was nice, warm, and welcoming. It seemed like it had everything they needed. You wouldn't even have to leave the property if you didn't want to. The staff was very nice. They had a gym, a pool, a library, and a studio room. They offered classes from the local college. They had a putting green. You can play eight different golf courses that included your cart fees and all that, so that was a big plus for golfers that could still play."
