"We toured the independent living community of Southern Pines Gracious Retirement Living. You walk in the door, and it is very modernized, very clean looking, and there is a fresh smell. It was lovely and decorated for the fall, so it had pumpkins and all kinds of fall decorations in the foyer area. The dining room was to the right when you walked in and was very clean-looking. They were setting up for lunch there. The whole building was just very modern-looking and clean. The man who showed me around, the sales manager, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about what he was talking about. He took the time to answer all of our questions and showed us around. We went on every floor, there were three, and there's something on every one of them. He even took us outside and showed us the patio area, so he was just very nice. The food was good and presented nicely. The waitstaff was very nice and very attentive. The menu also had a lot of variety, so it was nice. I wouldn't have any complaints about it at all."

"We will be moving my mom to Pine Knoll within the month. I liked this community. All the employees were very friendly and it was a very welcoming facility. The room that I saw was very neat and clean, and we were happy with it. I liked their common areas. They had a sanctuary there that we liked, too. They had a library and it was nicely laid out with a couple of sitting areas. They also had outdoor spaces that allowed people to be able to walk the grounds. All of those things were very nice."

"We liked Belle Meade because of its location. Also, we've heard nothing but good things about the place. I knew a lot of people who've had their parents there, and everybody seems to like it. It's a nice place to be. The staff were real nice and accommodating. They have a pool, a library, a chapel, and an exercise area."

"I was at St. Joseph of the Pines for a tour. They offered everything that my mother needed and everything that she wanted. They would give her her own apartment, and it's nice. I think it's a beautiful place. I like it all. The staff was super helpful. They were very kind people. The staff gave me menus and stuff like that, and it was nice. The rooms were super nice. You could fit a king-sized bed in there and other things, too. The place was super clean as well."
