"Harmony at Kent was very, very nice, but it was a little expensive. It's a new place, it was like a hotel, and I could live there. The rooms were fantastic, the staff was very nice, and they had a very nice dining area set up like a restaurant. It was a little big for Mom. They have a dementia center away from the other -- it looked like a really nice facility, and price-wise was out of our range."

"Meadowcrest at Middletown was a beautiful place. The lady was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very nice. She knew everything that she had to know. She even gave me advice on how to get extra help. The common area was beautiful. However, they only provide you with a certain amount of meals and the rest comes out of your pocket. If I had to go in there, I wouldn't think twice, but it was just costly. It looked clean. I didn't smell anything. I saw a lot of different rooms and different activities going on, which looked good. I saw some people playing a puzzle and others just walking around and watching TV. They just do whatever they wanted to do."

"The Grande was very nice, and my visit went fine. The staff was great. The facilities were wonderful. The main door and the doors to the individual apartments were secured. You have your own kitchen and one, two, or three bedrooms."

"Westminster Village is a very nice facility. The staff was very courteous and they were willing and able to answer any questions that I had. I currently have my mother who lives in this community. She lives in an apartment and is very pleased with it. The common areas are very tidy and appear to be well kept. Another wonderful feature about Westminster is the location, it is located right in the middle of Dover, and there are plenty of things to do. Many of the stores are just a few blocks away. This is a wonderful facility, with a wonderful staff and an up beat atmosphere. I would highly recommend it. "

"Champions Club has really nice homes. It was really well-kept, clean and quiet. The construction is outstanding, immaculate, and top of the line. They cut the grass for you and everything. The staff was very nice. They answered everything that I asked. "

"I will be moving into Ridgewood Manor. It's a modular home park for 55 plus, so I have my own place. I have a little yard. I have neighbors all about the same age. The modular home was in my price range, and I'm looking forward to it. I like the area. It's closer to my doctors and closer to the highway. The manager was great, very helpful, and nice. She gave me the information I requested and returned phone calls when I called. They have a basketball court, a park, and a few gazebos around the area so that you can have picnics with your family. It is very well kept. The yards are nice. They had very nice sidewalks. It's a quiet neighborhood, which is what I want."

"Springmill Community is an excellent community. We have a clubhouse, a swimming pool, Shuffleboard games, tennis, and Pickleball. It's very inexpensive to live here. The monthly fee is $150, which includes mowing, taking care of your lawns, and snow removal. We have activities like making dolls and giving them to the hospitals, a card room, a pool room, trips that you can take outside, and people that would come in for entertainment (we just had a quartet of singers recently). It's a very friendly community. We have people from New York, New Jersey, and even from Pennsylvania. On the street where I live, they're all super wonderful people. No one bothers anyone unless you want to be bothered. No one's at your door every morning having coffee. They'll come down on you if your house needs to be power washed or your curtains aren't all white on the outside. They're very strict, which I like, because it keeps the community beautiful. The only drawback is our clubhouse holds only 100 people and in this community, there are like 330 houses or somewhere in there."
