"Victoria Park at Sassafras Meadows was very nice and very clean. It's in a very nice residential area with new homes around. They have a theater room, an exercise room, and a beauty salon. You go outside with a deck/a sunroom. They're like apartments. They're not like buildings. It's not like it's a nursing home. It's a senior community and other people live there. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and answered questions about the complex."

"I'm living at The Parke at Ocean Pines and that's for those over age 55. I've been here for 20 years. They're private homes. We have our own clubhouse. It has a gym, a pool room, a community center, and an indoor pool. We have all the amenities of Ocean Pines also. Ocean Pines is an HOA and then The Parke is an HOA within Ocean Pines, so we have two HOA fees, one for Ocean Pines and one for The Parke. They have activities, but it's more like you're on your own. It's independent living. There are no meals or things like that. There are two-bedroom, two-bath and three-bedroom, three-bath. All the snow and maintenance on the roads are handled by the community, so we don't have to shovel. They have five or six people that work in the clubhouse, and we have a monthly newsletter that goes out. The staff is excellent. They're right on the ball with everything. They set up trips that go on. We have a lot of groups and the people that live here run them, so we don't have to pay money for people to run anything, we have volunteers. Value for money is good. It's an excellent facility. That's why I've been here over for 20 years. I was one of the first hundred that moved in. It's convenient for everything, with groceries, doctors, and hospitals. We're within a couple of miles of everything."

"Catered Living of Ocean Pines was nice. It was more of a community arrangement versus a senior citizen home. It used to be a 55 and over, and they're transitioning over to senior care and I like that. They had two-bedrooms, two-baths. They had plenty of things to do. It's a small and quaint facility. The staff was very pleasant. The facility was clean. They had a lounge, dining area, game area, activity area, and a library."

"I like Homes at Gateway Village 62+. It was very clean and nice. The dining area looked very pleasant and nice. The community layout was very nice. It seemed quiet. I would recommend them because it's more for seniors that can get around and stuff."
