People were nice enough but the facility is not conducive to the number of people there and them all being seen and cared for. My mom was miserable. I was scared for her. After medication errors we got her out of there asap. Definitely tour before you send someone there to stay.

My father was in H. M. twice before his passing. He certainly was not happy, when he moved in after breaking his hip, but we had no choice. Right from the start, we were impressed with the staff, and the attention of care. This was even true with the staffing issues that every business in now facing. Here's the thing. Dad made many friends in H.M. & when he was sent home, we would return on his own and go to the dinning room to visit some of the others still living at HM. When he went in a second time, it was a simple decision

My husband stayed in a private room at Hallmark House Nursing Center. It's old. It's not as fancy as some of the other nursing homes now, but it was very clean. They had very good food. He didn't complain about it, other than it's cold. They have a beauty salon and a chapel. The only problem we had was they did not have enough help, but I don't hold that against them because they're like every other nursing homes right now. It is the way this pandemic's been going on. They did as much as they could with what few people they had. They were very good to him and made sure he was comfortable.

Hallmark House Nursing Center is very good. They are well trained and take good care of their patients. My friend is in a clean, shared room. The food is OK.

Hallmark House Nursing Center was the facility where my mom stayed for about a week before she passed away. It was a regular facility, nothing extraordinary. I did not get a chance to observe any activities in the facility.
