Small rooms, some residents are clean some are not. Bed bug infested! There’s been residents that sat in nasty sheets for days. The food is low quality, everything is processed.Poor management, Barely staff at this facility very high turnover rate. Keep your love ones away from this facility.

Moraine Court Supportive Living was nice. They went out of their way to help us move my mother in and accommodate her until her room was ready. They were really helpful. The dining area was nice. Mom had a hard time walking, so the first couple of weeks they brought her dinner to her room until they moved her downstairs, and they moved her right across the dining room. The food was OK. They gave a nice lunch but sandwiches for dinner. When you walked in the door, somebody was there at the desk to meet you. You walk straight forward about 50 yards, then you've got a nurses station. The nurses were OK, but they lost my mom's pills one time and then they got it re-upped again.

I visited this facility

Moraine Court Supportive Living was very nice. It seems bigger than I would like it to be because my mother doesn't get around very well. That's the only concern I have, that it was so large, and it was a big place. I saw a room with a partial kitchen and a walk-in tub. Some of the rooms have a balcony, I think my mother likes that pretty much. They had an exercise room, a store in the basement, and a nurse on staff. It was a nice place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The dining area was very clean, and it was nice too. They were doing some upkeep while I was there, they were painting. The facility looked very well-kept.

Provider Response

Thank you, Samuel, for your positive review! I'm glad that we were able to have a room available that was accommodating to your Mom's needs and we always want a positive experience for our residents and their family members!

If you care for your loved one, do NOT send them there. Moraine Court is all about the money. My Mother recently has recently passed away there and if it wasn't for 1 special CNA there, she probably would still be there on the floor. One Sunday night she fell and could not reach a call button. She laid there until the next morning even though she screamed and cried until she was hourse. We should have pressed charges then but didn't. When she signed the lease, they asked for a "community fee" of a $1000.00 and gave the impression it was the Security Deposit. Now that she is gone they are withholding it. They can not tell me what that fee is or why they did not take it off her rent. My poor Mother gave everything she had to Moraine Court and they are still sticking it to her in death.

You would not want to send your dog to Moraine Court. My husband has lived there for about 3 years now, and the same sheets are on his bed. They provide three meals a day. I would not recommend anybody to go there.

My aunt was at Moraine Court. My first impression of it was that it was very, very nice. It was very clean. They had like a stately ambience, a lot like wood trim when you walk in and there were a lot of chairs where the seniors could sit outside if they wanted to or they could be sitting in a library. They had a room for playing pool and they had a couple of different tables where they could play games. They had a party room if you want a party there. It was a little more elegant than usual. Another thing they had is that if you want to have a guest for dinner, you could have your own table. I really like it. My aunt had a really nice place there. I would even consider that place except they don't allow pets. Regarding the staff, they would have someone come in and clean my aunt's room like once a week. My aunt was free to come and go as she pleased, she just had to notify somebody that she would be gone. They had a beauty shop there. I did taste the food and they had hamburgers and French fries. The food tasted good. They had bingo and movies, and they had different speakers come in and things like that. My aunt was very satisfied with it. I would recommend this community.

The staff were very helpful. The rooms were efficient, and the dining room looked very nice. They do have several activities available to them; they take them out on outings, and they provide rides to and from the doctor. Moraine Court is a clean facility and affordable.

Moraine Courts looks pretty decently maintained. It's an older style community, but the facility looks nice and homey. The registered nurse spent an hour to speak to us for the interview. I am pretty much satisfied with this facility.

My mom has been in Moraine Court about a month and we're very pleased with the service at this point. The facility has a lot of amenities. The staff is very nice. They do a lot of different types of events on a daily basis and they met all of the requirements that we were looking for.

The staff of this facility was always very friendly and helpful. My grandmother's room was very nice. It was a large room with a bed and a recliner. It had a window and a small kitchen area. Also, it had a spacious bathroom. The common areas were always clean and always smelled fresh. The dining area was nice and large. She also said she liked to eat there. There were ample things to read and places to sit. The facility offered many services. They provided all her meals and her laundry services. They also had a calendar in the hall with organized outings for bingo or local shopping and errands. Every resident decorated his or her door. There was also a calendar with all the residents' birthdays listed. I also liked that there was a nice seating area outside in a shaded area. Plenty of parking was always available. The elevator always worked as well.

I visited this facility

When we found out that my grandmother had the early signs of Alzheimer's one of our first concerns was how we were going to make sure that she got the attention she needed on a regular basis. Sadly, my family is scattered across the country, and my grandmother wanted to stay in the same community she had spent most of her life in, so we decided to look around at the facilities near her. The first thing we noticed when we went to Moraine Court was hoe lovely and professional the place. Gran loved the dining room in particular. The facilities themselves seem very up to date, the food was very good, and tepee staff was friendly. In addition to this they had programs available for people to stay there 24/7 or to remain at home with care givers sent over now and then as well as being able to take advantage of the facilities. This sadly didn't mach what we had in mind as my grandmother wanted a less medical place to stay that was more independent, but didn't feel safe living at her home anymore. Nonetheless, Moraine Court still looked like a nice assisted living facility.
