My dad moved to The Canyons Retirement Community. They immediately made us feel at ease. It's a newer facility. It doesn't have an institutional feel. It feels more, like an elite hotel or a nice hotel setting. The service to their clients is just wonderful. They have the philosophy that this is their home and that's exactly the way they treat people. The staff was great. I haven't met one that hasn't been friendly and helpful. My mother eats with my father regularly and says it's really good. They have daily activities. My father is in memory care, so the activities are not quite as intense but, they have daily exercise, and classes, and there's some kind of a daily afternoon event like they bring in singing groups. They have an ice cream social and tasty Tuesdays. I think there's a good value for the money.

My mom moved into The Canyons Retirement Community. Our interaction with the staff has been very good, so far. She has a private room and it is very clean and easy for her to get around in. They do ice cream socials, bingo, and exercise classes. They have a beauty salon and can get their hair done 4 days a week.

The Canyons Retirement Community was a beautiful facility and it was quite new. The appearance just to the eye was very satisfying. The staff who gave me the tour was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The dining room was nice. I got to see the menus and it looked like it would be a great experience for the residents to be able to enjoy their meals and snacks. It's open all the time and food would be available for them at any time of the day. They would provide pretty much everything in-house. They had lots of great activities. They had indoor and outdoor activities for the residents. They also had a salon.

The Canyons Retirement Community was a great facility. They were very upbeat, had quality care, good meals, really nice rooms, and nice residents who offered hellos. It was really clean and well kept. The staff was super nice, very caring, and youthful. Some of them were really young, which was nice. It's just a beautiful facility and the people were kind and they have some church services for different groups, so they don't have to go out and drive themselves to the church, which is helpful for them.

We've toured The Canyons Retirement Community three times. When we walked in, we liked what we saw and the feel of the place. There's lively energy there. We toured their assisted living, and the staff there seemed very, very friendly, very pleasant, and courteous towards anybody there (whether they're visitors or the residents there in the facility). The general appearance of the place was very clean and very pleasant to the eye. The decorations were very nice and the hallways were wide open. It is also just right near the new hospital there in Twin Falls; it's a comforting thing.

The Canyons Retirement Community was a very nice facility. The people were very pleasant, and everything was fine while my wife was there. I was able to see her two or three times a day, and I had no complaints about the facility or the people there. My wife's nails and hair were very important to her. She was supposed to go to the hair salon on Monday, but then she unexpectedly died at six in the morning. They also had games and all kinds of things like that. It is a beautiful facility, and I think their food was good because she didn't complain about it at all. In fact, that seems to be one thing that even a doctor noted to me, that all the facilities in Twin Falls usually just serve people food that might be much more than a person can handle, but not in The Canyons Retirement Community; the food was really good there.

The Canyons Retirement Community looks good from the outside, but once you get a family member in there, they just stick them in a room and forget about them. They can improve on communication with family and making sure that residents shower. My aunt was there for almost a month and a half and didn't get one shower. They were falsifying logs. On the surface, it looks good. They offered activities, exercises, transportation, and those kinds of things, like most facilities do. But we had to really stay on top of them as a family member, especially in memory care, or they would just leave my aunt sitting in her room. They didn't include her in anything. The staff is very good at being friendly when talking to you, but they didn't have very good follow through with what we were requesting and what needed to be done. The community's physical appearance is nice, clean, and modern.

I went to The Canyons Retirement Community. Everything that I saw there, including the food that I ate, was excellent. The staff was great. We ate lunch there, and we looked at the rooms.

The Canyons Retirement Community was very impressive because it was pretty much brand new. It was a very nice place and the people I talked to were nice. Everything seemed to be fine. They dining room was like a restaurant and it looked very good.
