This place is an absolute disaster. Patients are neglected for hours and hours. The food is so terrible you cannot even discern what it is. We had to beg the rude staff to spend any time taking care of my mother. This place is so bad I'm going out of my way to find every website I can to let people know how terrible it is. Do not go here for any reason. You're better off at home.

Quin Meadows took care of my mother after a prolonged hospital stay. Providing rehabilitation of her lung function and physical strength enabling her to return to her home. My experience with the staff and the facility was very positive and professional in providing those services. The staff was friendly and seemed very caring. I appreciated that they provided religious worship opportunities to those who wanted them. This represented to me, a respect for the whole life experience of their patients.

I have had two family members as residents in Quin Meadows. I was very impressed with the care and friendliness of those who took care of my family. They were knowledgeable, willing to assist, and gave great suggestions for us as visiting family. The care my family received was very professional, caring, and of great benefit to my family as short term residents. They would ensure they visited other areas of the facility such as the open visiting area etc. They met other residents while meeting their goals in rehabilitation. The staff was wonderful and supportive. Thank you!

I am currently a resident at Quinn Meadows. I debated whether to go home from the hospital or enter into a rehab facility to get a little stronger. If I hadn’t made the decision to go to a Quinn I would have died. I live a lone and I would have not noticed the drastic change due to a UTI and blood clots in my lungs. Kelsie the therapist saved my life. She was noticing that I was different than normal and raised the red flag to others. I am so glad that they listened to her and got me immediately back to the hospital. I couldn’t be more grateful/thankful for the staff. Every single employee has been so kind to me. Marcus the PT has been so encouraging and has pushed me to get stronger and get past my fears. The staff members both therapy and nursing are incredible. If I would have gone anywhere else I might not be alive. I will be eternally grateful for the care and kindness that I’ve been shown here.

The staff at Quinn Meadows have been so nice and pleasant. They react quickly to my light and ensure I am taken care of. They are always sweet to me and treat me like family. I have loved my stay here! Other than being home sick I can’t complain about anything. I want to thank all of the staff for everything they did for me. The OT and PT staff helped me so much to get home and I love them for that!

I wanted to provide an accurate review of this building as a current resident for the past month. Upon my arrival and once I was settled in my place of residence, there were various assessments and a care plan was created just for me and my needs. In a few days a family member of my choice and I were invited to a baseline care plan meeting which would discuss in detail my diagnosis and medical needs. The head of each department spoke to us addressing how their staff would focus on the goals we wanted to achieve, how the interventions and staff would work with me and a goal date set to reassess my achievements or needs that still need to be addressed. I was encouraged to be an active voice in my care plan and had the choice to accept or deny the medical treatment devised on my behalf. We were asked if we had any questions or suggestions at the end of the meeting. It’s all about resident. Upon arrival I was received with kindness, cheerfulness and the staff was glad to help me get settled in my room. The staff are supportive and willing to work with me to gain momentum in achieving my independence and the strength and courage to succeed in overcoming and managing my daily challenges. The staff has seen me at my worst, can joke with me, know how I like things done including my preferences with dressing, showering, and toileting. They know my moods and can sense when I’m feeling blue and offer compassion, understanding and encouragement. The CNA’s also know when I’m not my usual self and brings it to the attention of the nurse who will assess me and if needed consult with the doctor then submit a doctor’s order. Through proper communications between myself, the CNA’s, nurses, therapists and doctor these steps can bring into action a quick response to specific needs that if not addressed could escalate into a major issue. The staff are knowledgeable, skilled and hard working individuals who work together as a team to accommodate, meet and/or exceed the goals in my care plan. Residents have the choice to eat in their rooms or in the dining area. They are escorted to and from the dining room which is well lite and open, socializing is encouraged but optional. Each day tomorrow’s menu is given to each resident who then have the opportunity to choose the main entree or customize choosing from the add on list or choose a completely different entree in the alternative list. The food is well seasoned, should one be on a low sodium diet the food can hold its own and still favorable. The portions are generous and entrees are well balanced, should you wish for seconds all you have to do is ask. in between meals twice a day and upon request. Activities are planned a month in advance, calendars are made up and distributed to each resident so they are aware of activities planned for each day of the month. The Activity Assistant will go to each resident’s room to invite them to the upcoming activity and will escort them to the activity room. Some of the planned activities are news every morning, exercise, games such as trivia, wild bingo, players card club, arts and crafts, musical groups, movies and ice cream social. The Activity Assistant is kind hearted, like to joke with the residents putting them at ease and encourages them to socialize. She is very patient especially when explaining a new game. She has to explain it over and over until everyone understands the game and then someone will ask a question about something she just explained, she will smile and explain it all over again. My room at Quinn is very inviting and has a warm atmosphere . The room is a single bed room with my own restroom that is wheelchair assessable a well as the sink and shower. It has a homey atmosphere not personalized touch. The grounds around the facility are professionally landscaped and well taken care

From the very beginning of my admit experience to the very end with Quinn Meadows has been phenomenal. I rang the doorbell and Justin the admissions director came out and helped me with ensuring I had all the information I needed and assisted in guiding me through the whole process. Justin was extremely attentive and followed up with me while I was in the hospital and ensured that everything went smooth. I’ve had an excellent experience and could not recommend Quinn Meadows enough. I am from Jackson, Wyoming and I was recommended to this facility and glad I got admitted here. Every individual in this building has been super attentive to all my needs. The only issue I have had was that my heater in my room was having difficulties, however, Milt the service manager came in immediately and resolved the issue. Therapy has been excellent! They’ve had to deal with the Covid restrictions and at the same time help me progress with higher level activities in my room. They have helped me get more mobile and I have noticed improved strength and ability to walk around without pain. The nursing department has been extremely prompt with delivering medication and taking care of my needs. From my first impression coming pulling into the facility it looks beautiful and the landscaping is pretty. The building in new and well taken care of. The room’s look nice and clean. Tonya the physical therapist has been great and has been super helpful in and done wonders progressing me with therapy and getting me the supplies that I need upon discharge. Linda the night nurse was extremely attentive and helped change my dressings immediately upon arrival. She has been fantastic to work with at night. The transport drivers Rusty and Bionca have been exceptional with transport. Always on time and extremely kind. Make the right choice and pick Quinn Meadows for your rehab stay and you won’t be disappointed.

Since I’ve come into this facility I have felt at home. Everyone is extremely kind and I’ve gotten help whenever I have needed it. I was in such pain at the very beginning and the staff were responsive to ensure my pain was managed. The staff has helped me every step of the way! The food has been excellent since I’ve been here and it looks good and more importantly it tastes good. There’s is a bunch of variety and choices throughout the day. Some of the food even looks gourmet. So I’ve been here for three weeks and it seems like I have not had the same thing served to me and there’s different things each day for snacks. It all seems like it is well prepared and set up nicely for presentation sake. You can tell collectively that everyone from the top to the bottom put their hearts into everything they do. They are exceptional at working together and they do a good job with making sure the residents are happy. I had Marcus as my physical therapist. He is one of the nicest individuals and has helped me and pushed me to get stronger each day. Marcus has quite a personality he sings to you and make you smile. There were days when I just didn’t feel like going to therapy. Marcus would encourage me tell me how gorgeous I was and how he believed in me. Tina G. was such a sweetie she always made me laugh. I could not recommend Quinn Meadows enough! This is a top notch facility which is beautiful and clean. Definitely not a normal skilled nursing home.

My stay has been good. I have really made progress with improving my strength. I am finally starting to feel like I can go home and manage on my own. The staff has been very kind and willing to help me even with the smallest issues. Being independent my whole life has made it hard to ask for anything. However, I have never felt like the staff was bothered by me asking for help. The therapist and nursing staff have been exceptional! Really overall this facility has exceeded my expectations. It is so clean and does not feel like hospital or rehab center. The facility driver “Rusty” has been so helpful taking me to all my appointments.

This is my first time staying at Quinn Meadows as a resident. The facility is exceptionally clean the they are always ensuring that my room is spotless and that my laundry is pressed and cleaned. To be honest it feels like a high end hotel. Since day one everyone has been so pleasant. The staff has been extremely kind and very helpful. The food is really good and it seems like I get so much that I am constantly stuffed with my favorite deserts. There are always lots of options on the menu. If I had to stay in a facility again I would pick Quinn Meadows over and over.

I really am so pleased with how therapy and especially Cydnee their OT was able to connect with me. She was constantly able to joke around and push me past my mental barriers to get to a point where I would feel comfortable about going home. I never thought I would make it home, however, today I get to go home and see my puppy! Abby the CNA is remarkable and helped me at a drop of a hat. There are so many nice people. It is not perfect, but the best facility I have seen. The administrative staff would always be out mingling with the residence and making them feel at home. They even brought me out of facility just to get ice cream. I would you recommend this facility and refer this place to anyone. I would give Quinn Meadows a perfect 10 3/4 stars.

just now-Edit I am currently a resident at Quinn Meadows and will be discharging today. I am so excited! The courtesy, knowledge and positive attitude in this facility is remarkable. There is not one individual in the facility that has made me feel uncomfortable or pressured. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure I am taken care of. I have been in so many different facilities and this is beyond the best facility in the area. I literally cannot pick one individual to recommend because they are all unbelievable. The facility is extremely clean and feels like an extension of home. I can tell that from management all the way down they are on the same page. I did not expect this great of care. I highly recommend this facility to anyone and ignore negative posts on this site because I have not seen any of the negative issues.

I can't speak highly enough about the staff and administration at Quinn Meadows. There is new administration and it is apparent that they work diligently to create a safe, positive and comfortable environment for the residents. Something special that stood out to me while my brother was there was the staff engaging the residents in a fun music video/dance party. It was obvious that this was a positive experience for him and the other residents as well. In addition to them consistently go above to create a joyful environment I have also witness them practicing professional and reliable care. I am so grateful for their commitment and feel confident to have my family member under their care.

An elderly friend of mine went to Quinn Meadows after a hospital stay last year. He was there for about a month. I was very impressed with this facility! His room was clean and bright. The staff was super attentive and kind with him. Their communication regarding my friend's progress was really consistent. They were very thorough about making sure that he would have the care he needed after going home. I would recommend Quinn Meadows to anyone! We had a super positive experience there!

I have been very impressed by Quinn Meadows Rehabilitation & Care Center and the exceptional care they provide for all their patients and residents. Several of our close family friends have spent time there after joint replacement surgeries. Each of them said that they were very well treated there, that the food was good, and that the rehab and treatment was exceptional. Every time we visited them at Quinn Meadows we were very impressed by the quality of care of our loved ones received. I would highly recommend Quinn Meadows!!

I was impressed with how clean and neatly maintained the facility was. Didn’t have any meals so couldn’t rate that. Was there during the Halloween holiday I liked how they involved the residents it looked like they were having a good time. Met some staff they seemed really friendly

I have been extremely impressed with the changes made at Quinn Meadows. It is the most beautiful, clean facility in the area. I have had several family friends who have had to transition from the hospital to facility to home over the past 4 years. I am constantly in all facilities in town due to my church responsibilities. This facility by far has the most staff members of any around! I never can make it through without several people asking if they can help. No skilled nursing center is perfect, however, if I had to stay in one or a going to put my mother and father in a SNF this would be the one. Don’t take my word for it take a tour of all the facilities!

I would never EVER recommend this facility to anyone! My grandfather has been in this facility for three days and has received the WORST care. He is there to rehab from a fall and fell three days into his stay due to lack of care. Most of the staff is terrible, very unprofessional, super unkind to my grandfather, staff eating off the residents trays in the halls and chatting with each other instead of taking care of the patients. The physical therapist assistant took the battery out of his alarm and never replaced it, so the staff wasn’t alerted when he fell. They have been told three times (by his doctor as well as family members) to get compression socks on my grandfather and it’s going on day 4, he’s getting severe edema and still no socks. The room is filthy, you have to ask multiple times if you need anything, and if you get it it will probably hours later. Food is repulsive and frankly not what most elderly people would enjoy. Therapy services are a complete joke and basically non-existent. Had the family not been there when the PTA came in, he would have just showed the exercises and left my grandpa in his bed, good physical therapy right? So frustrated with this facility, the staff and lack of care here, DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!

I would advise anyone looking at this facility to look elsewhere. It was an awful experience for my grandmother and my friends mother. I was outraged by their care. The administration needs to serisouly make changes.

This place was awful. The care was substandard and the staffing was minimal. It is dark and depressing. The rehab was sporadic at best.

So disappointed and worried for my mother. She is in horrible pain but all we get is "Will get your meds and be right back." They never come back. Couple of younger staff are very nice and caring. But the nurses and RN's act put out if you are in need. Never get meals or therapy on time. She is put in a wheel chair at 6a.m. and left there till night time. How uncomfortable! They are understaffed which is the facilities problem but DON'T make it the patients problem. So disappointed in Quinn Meadows.

I came here for rehab after hip surgery. Arrived at 2pm but did not get my pain meds until 4am the next day - 14 hrs. without meds after surgery - ridiculous! Contracted pharmacy in SLC, not locally! Poor nursing and CNA staff - only 3 nurses and 3 CNA's were on the ball caring for me - most work only part-time - definitely understaffed!!!. The others did not have the patience, caring or knowledge to help - talking too much, all about themselves, not to the patient! Was given wrong Rx one night - caught it myself. My leg was so inflamed and swollen I had to call my surgeon to get help from HIS nurse to review the problem (cellulitis). I detected a UTI from burning urination but house MD did nothing to help - night nurse did a urine sample but house MD waited for it to be tested. Finally got Rx 6 days later!! Administration here is outrageous! If patient complains too much (i.e., me), I was told I should think about finding another facility if I'm not happy here!] BTW, I am a former Pharmacist (45 yrs.) and Psychologist (25 yrs.) with 4 college degrees and experience in 4 universities, pharmacies, nursing homes and Dean in 2 health profession schools. Since I can speak for myself and not "demented," I was told my "unhappiness" here is pressuring the administrator to "step up" (my words). He, obviously, cannot do his job properly or does not want to do it. Never the less, BEWARE of being a patient in Quinn Meadows!
It's too bad

When this facility first opened I loved it.. They took such care of the facility and patients including my grandmother.. Bringing my mother here now was a huge mistake. They are understaffed, not good care for patients, food is horrific and the facility is ran down. I would not recommend this facility for your loved one.. It's too bad that it once was the top in Pocatello and now has so drastically declined..

I was at Quinn Meadows for a week and a half due to blood infection. It was a great and clean place. Though it was a rehab, it had a homey feel. The food was good. The staff was great. The therapist was good and very careful. They would go down to the room and assist me to the exercise room. There was button that we need to push whenever we go to the bathroom so they would be there in case we fall and they sometimes get mad at me because I don't push it when I went to the bathroom.

They're very good. They have outpatient physical therapy and occupational therapy. My husband was in there for about two and half weeks after hospital stay. They're really nice, new facility, very pleasant, smells good, does not look like a nursing home. They have one of those little pools in the physical therapy where you walk around and can do exercising in that. He liked that very much.
