My wife is now at Ashley Manor Care Center. She is doing very well there. I asked a lot of questions about the staff and how they handle things and what they do to make sure that medication is given, and based on that, they've done a very good job of taking care of things. I've been impressed with them. They eat as a group, which is nice. They serve my wife in her room when she wants to. They've done a great job. I haven't seen a lot of their food even though it always smells good. They don't have a big activity list like some of the larger facilities. It's more laid back. However, they would do stretching, exercising, and dominoes. They keep the facility itself very clean. It's very much like a home setting. It's always nice and neat. They're doing a great job. They let me know if she's sleeping all night, and they update me on how she is settling in. When I go there, they give me a little brief update on how the week has gone.

Ashley Manor was really beautifully-decorated and clean. They're very caring about their staff and the lady that showed me around showed me the private rooms and suites which were really nice. The furniture was beautiful, it was decorated nicely and was spotless. What impressed me was that there were two recreation rooms where you can play cards and games, which was nice. I didn't see a lot of staff, but they were very nice and helpful. I visited when it was almost lunch time and the food looked really good.

The staff at Ashley Manor primarily came to visit my mom at the hospital and they did an assessment. We looked at their offer and my mom likes it. The place is very nice and comfortable. It's also very clean and orderly. They only have about 11 residents. The rooms as well as the dining room are spacious. They also have good meal service. The staff are very nice, kind, and thoughtful. I would recommend this facility.
