I went to Heritage Healthcare to check it out, because the nurse at the hospital had sent me over there. I walked all around there and never encountered anybody. Nobody came to see what I wanted or if I needed anything, so I left. And then, I went back in there again and walked all around. Nobody said, “Hello, can I help you or anything?” I talked to somebody there that I knew, and then left. And when I told the nurse at the hospital what happened, then they called me and wanted to know, but they were not helpful at all. I would not send anybody there. I would not tell anybody to go there or take their loved one there, because I don’t think that they would get good care. I didn’t get to see anything. Nobody helped me to see anything; all I did was walked down the hallway.

The facility was like most facilities that I have visited. Although many of the patients were sent to hospitals rather than properly checked out by nurses. Seemed like the nurses did not want to deal with the patients. The doctor for the home seemed the same way; did not want to spend time working with the patients individually. But overall, the facility was clean and most patients seemed happy. The facility is not located in the best location but it is close to a hospital, which is nice. The staff was nice to talk to, and most patients did not have negativitiy towards them.
