We chose Southern Traditions for my father. It looks like a school with a cinder block building, cinder block rooms, and cinder block hallways. It's a little quiet place for those with dementia. The staff seems to be a good bunch of folks. They all seem to be good-spirited people. When I go visit my dad, I would take him out to lunch because they pretty much just serve hospital food. They have crafts and painting, and they have get-togethers. They've got a little gazebo outside and they have a big screen TV out in the hallway.

We choose Southern Traditions for my mother. It is close by. The staff is nice. There nurses are there 24/7. As far as I know, she likes the food.
