My mother has a friend from childhood; Eleanor is now 69 and has dementia/Alzheimer's (not sure yet), and has had to move into assisted living. At Mary's Haven, it is more like being at home than being in a "facility." Eleanor can continue to go out, and her location is practically downtown in our tiny burg. Eleanor gets what she needs with encouragement to continue her life as much as possible as before she moved in. Eleanor gets great care from familiar faces and we couldn't be happier.
