When he is stable, I take my husband to a wonderful adult care center called Melissa’s Place. There’s everything there that they need. Mostly VA members go, so they have something in common, though they're of varying conditions. My husband has always been one of the frisky ones, but now he has a kidney stone, so we had to take him to the ER. The place is like a ranch-type house. They have a huge recreation room and other rooms where they can sit and watch TV. They don’t cook, but they have a microwave and meals are catered.
