Allegro Parkland is a good place to live. It's perfect for me and my lifestyle right now. The staff are very good. They're very kind and polite. The food is a different story. We've had problems because of the pandemic. Different chefs keep coming in and everything. I can't judge the activities; I don't join a lot. I tried the bingo, but I'm not a joiner. I like it is available if I choose to do it. I like the outings that they go on, but the activities within the facility, not so much. I'm happy with my apartment. It's a one-bedroom. I have a kitchenette, living room, and then bedroom and bath. It's small, but the ceilings are high, so I don't feel claustrophobic. In the living room, there are almost floor-to-ceiling windows, like three of them, and then a door out onto the patio. The same thing in the bedroom, there are two large windows, so there's plenty of light, and I don't feel claustrophobic at all. The building is absolutely beautiful. I'm not like everybody else, I'm not a joiner, but I'm perfectly happy here in my apartment. They provide rides and they take me to all the appointments that I had to go to because I don't drive. I'm extremely happy with the whole situation.

Allegro Senior Living was just too big for my mom and too many amenities that she would not have used. The staff was fabulous, and it was brand new. They had tons of things to do, and I think she would have become overwhelmed. Still, it was a beautiful facility, and the staff was terrific. They were great, and it was also exceptionally clean and smelled good.

My mother moved into Allegro Parkland and she's doing well. I think they're exceptional, very proactive, welcoming, and professional. It's a new facility, beautiful, feels like a hotel, and very modern. It has lots of beautiful community spaces, although limited by COVID in their use at the moment. The apartment is very well appointed. There are several large closets, including a linen closet in the bathroom, some built-ins that make it very appealing, and a lovely screened porch. Also included are ceiling fans in every room, including the porch. It just feels like a lovely hotel. It has a very positive, uplifting, and bright vibe to it. The staff is very accommodating and willing to help. They're a very good team. She says the food is pretty good. She has some preferences and limitations in her diet, but they're very accommodating. If you don't like what's on the menu, you can choose, there are other things that are always available. There are exercise classes, Zumba classes, interesting group conversations, there's a book club, and a lot of choices. A lot of facilities are very expensive and don't have the physical appeal or the range of stimulating activities that they appear to have.
