Dowling House was a nice community, they've got very friendly people, and they allow pets, but they have bugs right in the living room. Other than that, everything was fine. They have a very nice cafeteria. There's a lot of walking. They have assisted living as needed, and it's a Section 8 housing. The apartments were small. They're clean, but I'm really stuck on the bugs. They have a little newspaper that comes out every month, and it gives you all the different areas. It's a beautiful place. They have a library, a beauty salon, a pharmacy, a grocery store, restaurants, and church. There are also little houses and cottages. It depends on the price you want to pay and how independent you want to be. The staff during the tour was sweet and very nice. You can prepare your meals on your own or you can go to the cafeteria and they charge you, but they have good meals.
