Elevate Care Terrace of Hialeah

I toured Elevate Care Terrace of Hialeah. The young lady at the reception desk was very welcoming. They did not know that I had an appointment for 11 am, however, the person who was supposed to do the tour was in a meeting. She spoke to him, and he said, no problem if I can give him five minutes, and he was outside within five minutes. He's very pleasant and extremely sorry. He took me all over the place, asked what my expectations were, and showed me different rooms. It's a bit crowded, however, it looks like a very close-knit community, the place was clean, and did not smell. So overall, it was inviting.

The only mark against Hialeah Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is that it is too far from where we live, but the facility looks more than acceptable. I have only had one staff interaction, and that was with lady who gave us the tour. It was very short, though -- probably ten-to-fifteen minutes. I didn't see any other staff. It was very, very acceptable. She was very accommodating. She went with us through the whole building and showed us different units. They have two different floors with different types of patients. There is a section for patients with Alzheimer's and another one for a different category of patients. They have four different categories of patients and there are four different units. All the rooms have three or four beds. They looked acceptable. I didn't like the atmosphere because there were a lot of areas where there were multiple elderly patients and I didn't see any supervision.

I am very happy with Hialeah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. They have 24-hour service, and they attend to my father very well. They have all kinds of therapy, and they also have activities like bingo and domino. The staff is very good and very respectful. They are all licensed, and they treat him with care.
