Havencrest ALF V was pretty nice and very well kept, but the price was more than what I wanted to spend. The front was not kept up very well and needed some TLC, but I was impressed with the inside of the place. It looked like they had put new floors in. It wasn't exceptional but it was average. The staff who gave me the tour didn't even know I was coming, but she was very courteous. She walked me through and then told me that the manager would call me. When I was walking through, I saw a group of residents in a room watching TV. I think this place was geared more toward women than it is toward men.

Havencrest ALF V was very nice, but it was a single home that they had restructured to be a facility. We just felt that my friend wouldn't be happy with just a bedroom. We felt that she needed a little bit more space to spread out. It's a beautiful home. It's got a lot of space in it and the first room was set up so beautifully. You get a nice feeling about the place right away. We just felt that my friend needs more than just a one-bedroom. The house was beautifully landscaped. They said they go for walks. They had a pool that was fenced in and a back porch where they could sometimes grill for them and they have them eat out there or just sit out there just to be outside. It was very lovely and my friend liked the looks of it. Going in, she was impressed. The bedrooms were just too small for her. She's got a townhome and she loves every single piece of stuff that she has in there. She's going to have to take just her most-most favorite. We're going to get as big of space so we can take as many of her favorites as we can. The staff was very nice. They seem to pay very good attention to the residents and help them with some of their reading and feeding and just talking to them. It was very well kept up.
