My Mom moved into independent living at Spring Meadows 6 weeks ago after looking at 5 other locations. She choose Spring Meadows based on the amenities it offered her. From my first interaction with management for her lease signing to her move in we found the entire staff friendly, helpful, supportive and compassionate. Although my Mom lives independently, she could no longer live alone and did not want to live with family. Spring Meadows provides everything she was looking for and peace of mind for me knowing she is cared for 24/7 if needed. I would recommend the facility and most importantly my Mom has happily adjusted to her new living arrangements. Thank you to all the Spring Meadows Staff who have made this possible.

I love the Spring Meadows by Monarch. It was clean and bright. The decor was amazing. They had that soothing blue. And the residents that we passed by were really pleasant. They were all so very happy. The room itself was just amazing. It was a perfect fit for what I was looking for. The sales manager was extremely nice and very informative in terms of the community, especially the activities that are offered. It was nice. The receptionist was amazing, and the nurses that walked by were very well-mannered and very pleasant.

I'm currently in Spring Meadows by Monarch. It's going downhill at this point. The corporation has decided to make some large cuts in various budgets. So, activities and dining have gone downhill considerably since I got here. When I first got here, it was very nice, but it has dropped down to about 2 stars. We did have 3 people working in activities, we now have 2. The dining room is always short- staffed on servers, food takes a long time to get to us and frequently arrives cold. The corporation doesn't feel like staffing the place adequately. It is a very nice facility, and the people who work here are also very nice. There are just not enough of them. They do sing-alongs and concerts. The kinds of things I enjoy are the more intellectual word games and crossword puzzles, but they cut those drastically. They now have outsiders come in and do concerts, lectures, and sing-alongs. They do bingo and another game called Pokeno. Occasionally, they do the word game, but they used to have more of them. We don't have a full-time kitchen person. We don't have a full-time dining room manager. We don't have enough full-time activities people. They've made budget cuts in every area.

Spring Meadows by Monarch was very clean and very nice. The people were very friendly, helpful, and gave a lot of information. They had a lot of cool things that they were doing with the residents. They had nice grounds that they could walk around, a courtyard, some gardens that they could work in, a gym, and trips to the market.

My sister will be moving to Spring Meadows Trumbull. It's affordable. It's very nice. It's like a nice resort. I expect that she will be very happy there. I met the director and she seemed to be very nice and very accommodating. I didn't meet any of the staff other than the girl who waited on us when we had lunch. Other than that I don't know anything much about the staff. The room was very nice. It was comparable to other places I visited. The structure was very pretty and very nice. They have a gym, they have PT, they have places where they have bingo, and they have a gathering room. They have all kinds of stuff. Food was very good; I liked it.

We went to Spring Meadows Trumbull, and it's absolutely gorgeous but very expensive. The staff was delightful, caring, and the rooms were more like hotel rooms. The whole facility looked more like you were going into a hotel, but the prices where more than I could pay. The dining facility and the meeting rooms were lovely.

I'm living in Spring Meadows Trumbull and I love it here. I'm doing workouts and I'm into arts and crafts. I also play games, and I'm doing workouts with Keith, who is one of the physical therapy guys. They offer three meals a day and the food is very good. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Spring Meadows Trumbull was lovely, clean, and very nice. The staff was knowledgeable. I was there on a Saturday, but they had the activities posted on their board like arts and crafts, lectures, and people coming in.

Spring Meadows Trumbull was very nice; I liked it very much. The staff was very nice, courteous, and helpful. The rooms were beautiful. We’re looking at a two-bedroom with a kitchen, and they’re gorgeous. We stayed for dinner, and the food was terrific. The dining area had a nice atmosphere, and the grounds were beautiful. It was very pleasant to be there.

My mom was in Spring Meadows, and she is very happy there. She moved in May and very comfortable. They are very friendly and welcoming. She is outgoing there. They do offer a lot of activities; they have bingo, movies, baking classes, and jewelry making. They have a lot of special holiday activities every afternoon. They meet in the common area and have a snack and something to drink, and everybody socializes. They have the Trumbull Youth Symphony Camp and entertainment in the courtyard. They have a lot of outside activities that she really is able to enjoy. They have exercise class, Wii bowling, and a lot of activities. She made friends. The dining room is beautiful, and everyone likes it. The staff is lovely, they know her name from day 1. A few times that she didn’t make it to dinner, they called to make sure she was OK. She has an efficiency room -- bedroom and living room accommodation. Out of the places I have seen and visited, I am really happy with what we found there. They do have a lot of outside activities also. They do take them to the ferry to Long Island go to restaurants for lunch or go shopping. She seems very happy, and that’s all I can ask for.

We visited Spring Meadows and had a delicious lunch there. Our waitress was a young, friendly girl. She engaged us, asked us questions, was very friendly and social, and we watched her interact with the community members. People's mood in the dining room was happy. They have older residents, a very nice salesperson, and had a very nice layout. My in-laws actually loved the layout of the rooms. They were bigger and much more spacious. They were just gorgeous apartments with laundry in the units, and a full kitchen, so you could just cook your dinner right there. The common area was great and had a fireplace. They had a library and a place where you can get a snack. It was a state-of-the-art, wonderful place and good for people who can afford it.

I live in Trumbull and chose Spring Meadows because it is in our town. It has a lovely environment and I had an ample space in my apartment. The people are very friendly and their food is good. They have a whole lot of activities and every day they have exercises, card playing, shows and sometimes even go out for entertainment.

For the first Saturday of every month, my church youth organization and I would visit Spring Meadows to entertain the residents. The facility always appeared to be clean, beautifully designed, and well-furnished. The flowers, sprawling staircases, and chandeliers made the facility a beauty. The staff was always kind and helpful. The dining staff would always bring delicious, baked cookies and beverages for us. The residents were always respectful, and encouraging. The staff also helped introduce each resident to one volunteer. This made it easier for everyone to become well acquainted. On another occasion, I received the opportunity to volunteer for Spring Meadows. When I visited the facility to complete an application, the front desk receptionist was courteous and helpful. She immediately handed me an application, answered any questions I had, and even offered to give me a tour of the facility. Although I received a call to volunteer, school and other priorities made it impossible to do so. In the near future, when I have more free time, I plan to volunteer.

When my aunt's illness became too intense for her to remain at home, she was moved into their assisted living area. She was resistant to the idea, but after about two weeks there, she was extremely happy. I visited her this past month and she was very pleased with the location and their amenities. She was happy with how they served dinner in a family restaurant environment and was very engaged in the activities they offer. Her condition leaves her out of breath with any sort of physical activity, but she enjoys the group discussion on current events as well as the game days designed to stimulate conversation. As far as care goes, she is very particular and I expected complaints, but heard none. She states the staff respects her privacy but at the same time is responsive to her needs. Knowing how selective she is, I'm willing to give them my highest endorsement.
