We moved my mom to Applewood Our House South Lakewood. She's in the memory care unit, and we liked the staff. I've been there and they've done a wonderful job handling my mother. I was in her room giving her clothes and her anxiety started to increase, and they stepped in and just handled her beautifully. She's now eating there, which is a progress. My mother has voluntarily laid in bed for 20 years, now all of a sudden she's going to a barbecue, she went to the zoo and she's made a friend. It's amazing. The facility is beautiful, very clean, very organized, and just a very pleasant environment.
