Serenity House was great. The director was super helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed looking at this place. I liked that there were multiple options for houses. We were hoping this would be the one that would work out for my father's level of care was just too high. They did have activities.

The staffing of 1 caregiver for every 4 residents enables our team to slow down and spend an incredible amount of 1 on 1 time with our residents. In many instances, they can spend 15 to 20 minutes of 1 on 1 time per hour.

Serenity House was great. The director was super helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed looking at this place. I liked that there were multiple options for houses. We were hoping this would be the one that would work out for my father's level of care was just too high. They did have activities.

I visited Serenity House. They have many homes in the metro area, I met with the director, and it's a different concept. They buy up homes in residential neighborhoods, and they fix them so that four or five seniors can live there. I was very impressed. The rooms were nice, definitely clean, some are smaller, some double, and some single. When I was there they were doing group exercises, and they have a physical therapist doing that. They have a TV room, and a common room for quiet activities with books and comfy chairs. The meals were different because the residents can help with like setting the table, and they're generally home-cooked meals. They have a super nice back patio that's fenced in, lovely, and sheltered from the sun.
