I was very impressed with The Harmony Home - Fort Morgan. The rooms were really nice and clean. They were helpful. It's an assisted living, and they also have people that will help mom if she needed more help in some areas. When we walked in there, the manager was really informative, showed us the whole place, and said that they do activities for the residents. They play games. They keep them as active as they can. They like them to interact with the residents (as long as nobody is sick). They asked us if mom was vaccinated, and we told them that she is. We asked questions, and she had answers for us. She showed us the dining area and the laundry room. There was an outside courtyard, where they could go and sit if they wanted to be outside. They showed us a smaller room. Right now, they have a little bit bigger room, which I think would be a little bit more comfortable for mom. We're hoping that we'll be able to get that one. It was very clean, and there was no odor. I'm hoping that we can get mom into Harmony. It's easier for me because it's here in Fort Morgan. I could go see her in the morning for a little bit before I come to work. I could go see her in the evening after I get out of work. I feel more comfortable she's closer to me.
