They gave us a couple of cannoli, and they were pretty good. They offered all kinds of activities throughout the day for the folks there. They have a salon, a movie theater, and an ice cream bar."

"We liked it, though we didn't get to see much because of COVID. We just met in a room with a woman named Amber, and she was very, very helpful. She kept in touch with me very diligently, and she's really nice. What we saw of the place was clean. She showed us where the dining room was, although it wasn't being used. Everything else looked good. We saw a single room (for one person), and there's a shared room. They were fine for what they were. It's located really close to Queen of The Valley Hospital. They have a salon, options for exercise classes, and an outside area where residents could garden. It was memory care so they can go outside, but it was fenced in."

"Diana was the one we worked with us here and she was phenomenal and so helpful. She gave great insights on how to help mom in the best way. Their amenities were outstanding. They had two 5-star restaurants and then another nice restaurant. They had snacks out that people could come and get at any time. So it wasn't just three routine meals. They were open all the time with snacks and if you wanted something extra, you could get it. You could either have the food taken to your room, like room service, or you could go to the restaurant. They had a happy hour in their general area so it was just phenomenal. It was luxury resort living. Diana showed us two studios and a one-bedroom. The studios were very nice with had very different layouts that would work well for anybody. On the first one that we walked down, I noticed that the kitchenette was a little bit further from the bedroom and the living area, which in our instance was a little bit of a walk, but for a regular person, it was just right there. The next studio was more of an all-inclusive. It was very clean. They had one that looked onto the courtyard in the center with all of its fountains and flowers, while the other one was secluded, like a parking lot kind of view that looked over the tennis courts and things like that. The one-bedroom was very spacious and very nice. They had very short hallways, so there was not a ton of walking and it's soundproof. You could be in the hallway and not hear any of the other residents' televisions or anything. It was well done."

She finally gave me the green light to find her a place closer to me and I jumped on it. I knew the minute I stepped into Cogir that this was the place. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, the staff are all amazing going out of their way to make sure not only my mom feels happy but me as well. As long as you are able to care for your pet you can have one,. The food is great, they have many activities, spiritual service on Sundays, social hours, a nice library, hair dresser, and nice views from the apartments, some even have bay views. . My mom’s old apartment in LA had a view of a wall. Now she can look out her window and see birds hanging out in the trees and bushes. She and I both feel she is safe and well cared for."

"Benicia Angel's Home I was amazing. I felt that it was exactly what I wanted my mother-in-law to be. The grounds were lovely and the house inside was lovely. Each bedroom had its own bathroom or a shared bathroom. It was very nice and very clean. The workers there were very kind. The owner took us on a tour and she was lovely as well. They had a backyard where they encouraged people to go out daily to get some fresh air and stuff. I had no complaints about it, except for the price."

"My wife and I moved into The Californian. The staff is friendly and very efficient. The food is sometimes not top notch, but for the most part it's pretty good. Those things make it really good. You can have a pet, so we have our dog. Those were the three things that made us choose the,. Because of the coronavirus they can't offer too much, but almost every day (except on the weekend), they let us go outside, take a little walk around their front area with the strawberry and flowers, and that takes about a half hour to an hour. They just started some indoor exercises where you sit on a chair. Those are the two things that are happening right now, and I think more will happen later. The outside is pretty nice. They have an area where you can take your dog and they have another nice area that is dog-free."

"My mom stayed in Comforts of Home - Riverside for a few days. I met all the staff, they were all very nice, and I liked them all very well. The food was good. It looked nutritious, and it's well balanced. I also loved the layout. It was great, and I just liked that it was open and people in wheelchairs or walkers could get around easily. My mom wasn't able to do any activities, but I would imagine just based on everything else that they were very good. They had a really nice backyard with a nice deck, so when the weather's nice, they could go out and sit out there. It's a great place."
