"We haven't signed anything with Sunny Rose Glen yet because dad's still in the hospital. It was the only one we toured in person. You can't get into the area where the rooms are, but they have model rooms set up and you walk from the outside. It was a fantastic tour, and the staff was super nice. They shared all the activities planned, how they go about transferring my father, how they'd check on him, how the phone calls work, the TV, everything."

"We went to WellQuest of Menifee Lakes. It was great. We focused on the memory clinic the most for my mom. It is very clean. It is a very inviting atmosphere. To me, it looks more like a hotel than a facility when you look at how the rooms are laid out because it's a newer facility. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable, very positive, not pushy at all, and very willing to take the time to answer all the questions that I had. He gave me a complete tour of the facility. He pretty much told me everything from the activities to dining and what they provide as far as services. They provide services for my mom as she declines more and what they're capable of doing, which is quite a bit. They are very informative about what they're able to do, and how they take some of the people over to the regular assisted living to do some of the activities over there. It's very detailed oriented. The residents were very nice there. I was amazed by a couple of them who came up to us and said they liked the place. They'd been to other places, and this was the best place they'd been in. As we're looking at a couple more places, WellQuest of Menifee Lakes is one of them that we're looking at with heart. "

"We thought The Hills of Alcoba II was well laid out for what it was being used for. We liked the people and the staff and everything about it. So we thought this would be more where Mom would be. They have just your standard house bedrooms, but they were well kept and all the beds were made when we got there. Everything was clean."

"The one that I liked was the Sun City Gardens. It's very clean and quiet. I got to meet a few people. They have a very nice staff. The living spaces are very nice, very spacious, very clean, and very safe. They have everything you need including housekeeping and stuff if you need it. They have laundry facilities. They have a restaurant, which is very nice. They also have a library. Everybody that was in the lobby said it was a very good facility."

"It was very nice and clean. There were plenty of people. It kind of seemed like a nice hotel. The room we were looking at was a one bedroom, one bathroom. It had a little kitchenette and a little patio. It was a nice size. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I didn't try the food, but we went through the dining area. It was very nice. They had a really nice library and a movie room. They had a little church room, like a place they could go into. The dining room was huge. There are places where they have activities like bingo and stuff like that. There was a pool."

"My mother has been at the Regency for almost five years. She loves it, and I love knowing that she is in a place where she is wonderfully cared for. Although the care and food are top-notch, it is the activities my mother loves! She enjoys bingo, flower decorating, bingo, cooking, bingo, fireside reading, bingo, exercise, bingo, crafts, and did I mention bingo! The staff is amazing and really cares for each resident as if they are a member of their own family. It's a great place! "

"The amenities at Pico De Loro that could be used were like you would find at the library; they didn't really have much. I didn't see any activities going on. They just said that they would get them together for game nights and watching TV, and that was about it. The staff was good; they were helpful and very cordial. I mainly dealt with the facility director, and she was really nice. The facility itself seems kind of old and worn down overall. They could improve on the outside. They had sort of a second area in the back where they put their junk. It was gated off, but there were residents walking around. There was sort of a fountain or a pond area, but it was not looking good."

"My sister has moved in. Everything is excellent. The whole environment and the expertise of everyone are the reasons why we chose them. They were all knowledgeable sincere workers. It was just a fit. It has been a very, very good experience just in the last couple of days. This is just the first weekend, but we don't have to worry about my sister being there. We see the way they interact with her. I called to check on her, and they called me back. I was shocked that anybody would call me. Her transition was very easy. The food is very good. For activities, they have taken her walking around the premises on a good day. The layout is excellent. It's very easy for my sister. Going to the dining room is very easy. Directional-wise, it's down the hallway. The living area with the TV and things like that is very easy to get to. It's not huge and there's no turning here or there that confuses them a lot. It's also very safe. It's secure. I know it's a little pricey, but we just have to make it work."

"My dad moved here in November 2015. He is 96 years old and is doing much better since moving to the Village Assisted Living facility. He goes to exercise class every day where Rosa, the Activities Director, does an excellent job. Michele, the head RN,(22 years with the Village) and her staff are all top notch caregivers. The housekeepers and maintenance personnel are helpful, friendly and exemplify 5 star service. We are very pleased and highly recommend this facility. "

This residence is meticulously clean. The staff is caring and go above and beyond. If you drive by to inspect, don’t be put off by the exterior, the inside is nice and feels like home.
