"The most important thing about Brookdale Murrieta's assisted living is, the fine staff that they have. They're very, very caring. The room is clean and inviting. I have a studio room and my every need is met so I would highly recommend this place. The pricing was good too. I got in when they had a special going on, so I saved over $900 a month. They have a great dining room and their menu is terrific. There's something to do almost all the time, I'm just not interested. There are games, and wheelchair exercises or sitting exercises. They allow pets, which was a real perk to me. My dog doesn't stay, but she comes to visit. They only have a one-time fee for the dog to live here and they don't increase it each month, which to me is very nice. They take very good care of you. You wear a button and they come immediately if you press it. The staff, be it a housekeeper or the administrator, helps you immediately."

"I toured Ivy Park at Murrieta, and I almost went with them. The thing I liked most was their very friendly staff, who were very accommodating. Their food was top-notch. It's even better than the other place. It was like restaurant-style food. It was so good and would have been a doable place, but it cost more. It's a very new place, so that's why it's bright. It was even brighter than the place I would have to go to, and the rooms were very nice."

"I toured Renaissance Village Murrieta, and Maria gave me the tour. I would have considered it, but the cost and location weren't as nice as the other one I had. The rooms were very nice. Everything about Renaissance Village was nice. It's a new building, and they told me when it was built."

"My mother moved into Murrieta Gardens, a memory care facility. They are very organized, clean, and sanitary. They are very kind to the residents, and the caregivers were exceptionally nice to my mother. They have many activities throughout the day, like different games they play and daily exercise. The caregivers get the residents involved in making sure that they get dressed every morning, and they escort them to their breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making sure they're eating. They also come around to check on them multiple times a day to make sure that they are okay. I tried the food, and it was delicious. We had a snack one afternoon with my mom; it was a peach cobbler, and it was amazing."

"This has been the absolute best place for my Father-in-law. He has been the happiest man I have ever seen him and the facility is the best facility he has ever been!! The staff and facility is friendly and the place is always clean. They have more activities going on for him than I have ever participated in during my entire life. Seriously, this is hands down a great place!!"

"Everybody at Holiday Chateau At Harveston is very, very friendly. The workers here always have a smile on their face and they greet you in the hallways. There are a lot of people that have walkers like I do, but we still can independently get around and do things. The meals are very nicely done. They have a good chef and good cooks. If you have any requests about how you would like things to be cooked, they will do their best to do that for you. They have just taken a lot of pressure off, knowing they are taking care of me. They clean my room every week. I have to do my own laundry, though. I could pay extra to have it, but I'm able to do it myself. My room is right next to the laundry. So, it's more convenient for me than it is maybe for some other people. I wound up with a very nice studio, one of the larger ones that they have, because I don't use a bed, I use a recliner to sleep in. So, it feels very spacious. It has about 500 square feet, which is quite spacious for a studio. I was able to bring my cat, which was very important. They have meetings where you can meet the workers, like the chef, as an example. If you have anything you want to say or ask about, they will thoroughly explain it or fix it, if it's a problem. So, you have a chance to say something. They have resident meetings where you can do the same thing. They're very open to listening to anything you have to say if you want something improved. Somebody mentioned they would like music in the dining room, and within two days, they had it going. It was just quiet music for our meals. So, they're doing everything they can to make it pleasant for everybody. They share the work, too. They may be cleaning your room, but then at mealtimes, they're also your waitress or waiter. They work hard and they're very good at both jobs that they do. They're very pleasant, they're in uniforms, and I haven't had a problem with anybody. They had just recently repainted and updated all of the inside. As of this week, they just completely painted the entire outside, and my patio takes three different colors and they only just finished doing it. So, I don't know what else they could do to make it better. I was able to come in with a good discount because I came in at the end of the month, which I think is typical of most units or facilities (if you rent, they give you discounts further into the month). It is the best price I could find anywhere. The salesperson was able to adjust the rent and I was also waiting for the VA to come through, so that helped."

"I toured Vineyard Ranch at Temecula. The gal who walked me through is very knowledgeable, very kind, and bright. She was a young lady. She knew the residents. She knew them by name. She took the time. She made sure that they were comfortable. People were everywhere. They have a resident dog. People were singing. A gentleman was looking for food in the kitchen and she helped him out to get some melon. It was nice. The only reason that I did not go there is I would have liked to have been a little bit cleaner, but everything else was spot on there. Their care, their true caring, not just a job. They follow up on everything about them. Hindsight probably should have been there. They had arts and crafts going on. They had everything going on. That is a true facility that puts things in place for quality of life."

"I toured Regency Fallbrook. They had a lot of creative activities they put together for seniors to enjoy their social time and they're reaching out and having that human connection. It's like being at home, you're living with a bunch of people. The rooms are very nice. The staff was very nice and professional. They seem to be concerned about the people that they take care of. My only concern with them is that they are so overly expensive that when you have people like my mom who is a retired schoolteacher with a fixed pension, it can be hard to stay in places like that because they just can't afford it."
