My father is in Summerfield of Fresno. It's nice and clean. They've got friendly staff. It has a homey environment and it's cozy.

The price of Summerfield of Fresno was right. Mom was going to be charged almost $10,000 a month at another facility and that was more than she could afford. So, that was our initial reason for looking out to find another location for Mom and the Summerfield of Fresno was very reasonable. Her rent is about $5,400 a month, which is almost half of what they were going to charge at the other facility. So I was pleased about that. The caring staff has been very good. The facility is very clean. She has her own room and bathroom. That's something that she didn't have at the other one. She had a shared bathroom there. Everything about Summerfield of Fresno was nice. The only problem is it's a two-hour drive for me. So it's a long drive. They have a big central room where they bring the residents and they do singalongs, artwork, and puzzles. They always keep the residents busy. The staff is great. They've been really good. They make regular contact with me, so I know what's going on all the time and they're doing a very good job. The upkeep and cleanliness were exceptional.
