My sister was there almost 2 years. It was in the midst of the covid pandemic so I was unable to visit her inside for over a year. I tried to keep in contact by phone. The last 4 months I visited. We live about 4 hours away. Everyone was kind and loving to the residents. Food looked good and was served in the patient room or dining area. My sis could be difficult but they treated her with respect and patience. It is very difficult to manage so many patients with such a diversity of needs but I would say they did very well. Would recommend them and I have been an RN for 45 years.

I visited Golden LivingCenter for my sister. I saw it before, and I was like, this is probably the one that I would go. The room was spacious, clean, and neat. It wasn’t cluttered, so a person can move around easily. They have trips, bingo, and exercise. They had their own beauty shops and all that stuff, but of course, you pay extra for it. They had snacks in between meals for the people. It was very nice. I can see why they charge what they do, but I don’t know how these people can afford this because it was quite a bit of money. The staff was top of the line.

We have mom in Golden LivingCenter, and she’s been making great recovery. They were able to take care of my mom’s needs as far as her feeding tube. The staff was really friendly. The room was adequate. There were 2 beds in the room with no television. Everyday they had some activity going on. They did have some kind of off-the-premises activities that they get to take people to.

This is a rehab and skilled nursing facility for short or long-term care. I saw patients sitting in wheelchairs or sleeping in their beds. I heard two patients asking for help turning their wheelchairs around, but it seemed that no one was responding; my guide finally helped one, but the other patient was told to wait. It seemed to me that any of the surrounding staff could have taken a second to help turn their wheelchairs around. This is a facility that handles Medical and Medicare patients; lower income. The rooms were small and needed some TLC. Patients were 2 to 8 per room. I did detect a slight odor, but the patients mostly looked clean.
